We were delighted to arrive at Knockeven house as part of our Cork road trip. Pam is a wonderful host and really made us feel like welcome guests in her beautiful home. Our green bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked and generous. Loved the Nespresso coffees and the chats!! Would highly recommend!

Myself and my partner booked a one night stay here at Knockeven House on our journey to West Cork and what a little gem it turned out to be. The house is certainly worthy of a 4 star hotel and our room was beautiful, it was called the Blue Room. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, the attention to detail was great from the Molton Browne toiletries to the Francis Brennan towels. On arrival the hostess Pam offered us afternoon tea and scones which was a lovely touch, especially after a long drive down from Dublin. We were eating in Cobh later that night and Pam kindly offered to drive us down to the restaurant which was so kind. Breakfast the next morning was fit for a king or queen with everything ranging from full Irish breakfast to freshly made scones and pancakes! We were spoiled for choice but Pam insisted we have everything. Social distancing was spot on and there were sanitizers around the house and Pam wore a face visor at all times. We would highly recommend Knockeven House and will certainly stay here again.

We stayed there for two nights in August. The house is gorgeous, the double room was very spacious, and the host was amazing and friendly. The breakfast was perfect with a great variety. It's a short walking distance to Cobh town center and 5 minutes walk to Rushbrooke train station.

This property impressed from the first sighting and the impression continued when we met the proprietor and our hostess Pam. She welcomed us on arrival with coffee and scones which was most welcome indeed after our long drive. This is a magnificent house and is very tastefully decorated and in excellent condition. We were here for three nights and were really looking forward to the stay. Pam proved to be an excellent hostess and enjoyed interacting with her guests and looked after every detail. The very large bedrooms were very well decorated and had extra large king size beds and were opulent and comfortable. Tea/Coffee making facilities had to be removed due to Covid Regs etc. The house is approx. 1.5 Kms from the centre of Cove and is a very pleasant walk into town where there are a selection of very good restaurants and visitor attractions within easy reach. Advance booking was essential in most restaurants and visitor attractions as they were extremely busy. Knockeven House was an excellent base from which to enjoy many of the attractions Cobh has to offer. The Breakfasts at Knockeven House are "Fit for a King", table service only in accordance with Covid 19 regs and with great variety and really good food. We really enjoyed our three nights at Knockeven House and Pam was an excellent Hostess and we would definitely recommend Knockeven House. We look forward to revisiting in the not to distant future.
