We recently went to Cobh and stayed in the Commodore Hotel. The rooms were excellent. Spacious, exceptionally clean and we had a sea view. Bed was very comfortable. Plenty on the TV. Lots of toiletries, fresh muffins, oranges and water delivered to room each day. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and made our stay very pleasant. We met Kelley from accommodation, we met Aoife, Aideen and Nicola, they were all very friendly as was Sabrina and the bar staff. We would highly recommend the Hotel.

Just called for dinner, 1 vegetarian choice (curry), so l had cheese (had to ask for no ham) toastie with frozen chips and mayo loaded coleslaw. Hubby had fish and chips, the fish thick with grease and honestly believe it was frozen from supermarket. Spoke to young waitress and she was so embarrassed she just laughed (please train your staff better). Terrible experience 😔

We had a fabulous 2 night stay here for New Years. Every receptionist we spoke with was bubbly, friendly and helpful. Waitresses that served us both evenings were lovely. Food was delicious. We weren't as impressed with breakfast as with our evening meals but no major complaints really. Clean and comfy rooms. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Will be back!
