We stayed here for a night whilst visiting cork. Free parking was difficult to find, up a steep hill and to be honest didn’t feel safe leaving the car there. The house was bang on the seafront, outstanding location so you can visit in the main sights in cobh very easily. The rooms were at the very top of the house. It is a VERY tall house. We were on the 4th floor. They have 2 rooms there and 2 rooms on the bottom. Bathroom hot water is Unreliable and not powerful at all. I was confused if breakfast is included or not. We weren’t sure so made our own arrangements as we had an early tour. The bed was extremely comfortable. Linen is good. Clean. The host, whilst trying to be helpful has a slight problem in actually listening to what the customer is saying. Communication is 2 way. Most worrying is the smoke alarms that are missing in ALL the rooms on the top floor. Normally I wouldn’t really care about such a thing, but when I’m staying in the top floor of an old house, it’s something which should be rectified.…
You won't find better in Cobh than Rooms with a View. Delightful house with an uninterrupted view of the sea. Room including the bed linen both stylish and very comfortable. Every detail is of the highest quality and style. I recommend highly and I'll be back.
Beautiful boutique style rooms with a fantastic view. Hostess is a lovely friendly host with lots of excellent tips on what to do nearby. Was very accommodating in arranging a crib for us last minute. Location is brilliant for Cobh and free parking a short walk away.
