One of the worst experience , i went there on my birthday and somehow i forgot the adaptor for my phone i tried to get it from the shops but no luck so i came back to B&B and thought to plug in my phone in the dining area for some time as soon i opened the dining area door the owner came from upstairs and started yelling at me and started passing racist comments and started accusing me that i am a robber i told him that i was looking for the adaptor and there are no such conditions that you can not come to the dining area then he was like you came to my private place i was like what the hell is going on then i went back to my room but didn't sleep whole night that stupid guy spoiled my whole birthday i can't even explain how rude he was, in the morning when i was checking out i tried to talk to him again he was like get out of my property such a moron he is.

Stayed last weekend with my daughter. The rooms we stayed in were away from main house but all felt very safe. Within walking 2 mins from town center and Harbour. Bears loop is just gorgeous. Lots nice places to see and do in the area so this is a fantastic base. The owner was a nice man. An added bonus was the lovely dog who came to visit us a few times. Great facilities including tea and coffee making fridge and plenty cups ect. Good value. Would highly recommend. ps views were lovely

Perfect location to town. Just down one long steep driveway and you are on the Main Street. Food was great. Owner seemed a little shy at first but was very friendly afterwards. Room was great and clean. Could do with somewhere to put suitcase otherwise stay was great.

Quite frankly a terrible experience which has put us off B&B’s, which is potentially unfair on a number of high quality, trustworthy and friendly hosts - the host of this b&b is none of those but you can add rude, unprofessional and an awful human being! The worst of it is that we didn’t even get to stay there - from reading other reviews that may be a blessing! We agreed with the rep from the property that we would have a triple room with an additional pull out/camp bed put into the room so we could fit 2 adults and 2 children. When we arrived at the property we found that the room we had reserved, and had agreed with the host, did not have enough beds for our family and that children are not welcome in the dining room for breakfast (or at all in the entire property it would seem). After a 45 minute debate, where the host refused to accept that the room was miss-sold to us and that there was no information on children not being welcome or able to eat breakfast, the host finally relented and refunded us most of the money we had paid (minus the commission to the platform we went through). The original position of Dennis was that we would only be refunded if he managed to sell the room for both nights that we had booked for - given the room was miss-sold, this was definitely not a reasonable stance to take in the circumstances. I would not recommend this b&b - especially if you have kids!
