We stayed here during our visit to west cork, exactly as one of the other reviews mentioned, what the rooms lack in quality, is more than made up for by the friendly staff, depending on what type of visit you are doing to Bantry, the pub is located well outside the town, but is convenient for trips to Mizen or... Staff were friendly and breakfast was good. The bed was not very comfortable because you could feel all the spring in the mattress. Otherwise the place was clean and peaceful. It was a bit off the beaten path.

What the rooms lack in frills and extras is more than made up for in homey charm, location and the great people that run the place! We stayed 4 days and would definitely go back. Close to Bantry Bay, Mizen Head and so much more! The owners and staff will give you the scoop on the best places to visit... More

We were staying in the Eagle Point campsite where we heard about this bar doing food. At first I wasn't sure about the place as there were a few kids in our group. But I was quickly proved wrong! Everything was made so easy and fun for us -just what you crave on a group family holiday with young children.... More

Myself and my college stopped here for lunch, we had the fish & chips and the turkey and ham. Both meals were colds and dripping with oil. When the staff were informed of this they were completely unhelpful and management were totally unsympathetic to any complaints. I genuinely felt ill after eating here and will be inform the food safety... More

I had rented a house in Ballylickey and we decided to nip down here for some lunch. I got a warm cajun wrap which was only OK. There was way too much sauce which made it a little sickening. My GF got the toasted special which was much nicer. There were chips on the side and these were really nice.... More

We stayed here the first week of September and could not fault anything, our room was spacious and spotless, the owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming, to be able to sit out and have breakfast was wonderful, the food was beautiful and fresh, we would strongly recommend the bridge house, one of the most homely places we stayed... Irish home cooking at it's best! Passed by on the road to Bantry many times and called in this visit in search of Sunday lunch...place was busy, mainly locals and to add flavour a hurling match was playing on tv. Cosy bar area and what I would call a true Irish pub...friendly greeting and seated with menu plus a very... More

We stayed here for one night whilst driving the Wild Atlantic Way. Our room was very good, very clean and very spacious. The bathroom was big and had a bath as well as a very good shower. WiFi was a bit poor during the evening though as the Inn was very busy and there were a lot of people there.... More

Having been working in the area and needed a late deal our company booked us into this little Gem !! We where welcomed into a busy bar as there was a charity event out in the BBQ Area at the side of the building. We was quickly shown the very clean rooms and soon found out the excellent shower.
