On a recent trip to West Cork I met with a friend for lunch in the West Cork Hotel. There was a lovely selection on the menu. We both had homemade soup which was delicious and toasted specials which were great aswell. We had beautiful apple crumble and coffee to finish off and they were tasty and fresh. The staff...

We got a room with three beds in it (not needed), room really really needed a renovation about 10 years ago. View from three windows was better only if compared to a brick wall in front. However the staff was very friendly and welcoming, five star to them! Perhaps "normal" rooms are neat and tidy.

This is a lovely hotel in Skibbereen. Food was great, great fresh fish & chips and I think the best apple & blueberry crumble I have ever had. I spent a few days here doing a course which was held in the hotel. Staff were friendly and service was good. I would recommend this hotel and will visit it again...

Came for lunch as a group of approx 80. The Hotel served up lovely turkey and ham dinners with all the trimmings. The meal was very tasty and considering the size of the group served I was very impressed. Would definitely recommend for large gatherings
