Our best stay in Ireland! Mona Best is a charming and gracious hostess. Fascinating lodging and gourmet Irish breakfast served by a welcoming lady who is an artist in her every endeavor. Maureen and Rick Bingham May 2015

We had a very welcoming, fun and relaxed time with Mona at the Bridge House Hotel. We were welcomed like family and would highly recommend this B and B. Skibbereen is a great place to have a little break, highly recommended.

I spent 3 great days in Skibbereen, a colourful little town full of nice people and Mona is certainly no exception! she is like her house: welcoming , warm , artistic and she does everything to make you feel good. Art and colours are everywhere: in the decoration of course, but also in the breakfast! Not mentioning her B&B is...

If you are bored with all the usual B&Bs and dull hotel rooms. Then Bridge House will provide you a welcome surprise. So different to any place you may have stayed at before. We visited for a few nights and we were treated like VIPs. Mona runs a very different kind of B&B. Victorian decorations are everywhere. A feast for...

We stayed 2 nights with Mona in the Bridge House and had a fabulous stay. After a recent week in a Hilton in Ohio (bleak, boring and characterless) this was a wonderful contrast. Everywhere you look there are interesting and carefully chosen treasures, and Mona's character shines through. She made us feel very welcome and as everyone else says, the...

I spent three nights in Mona's Bridge House. I was delighted to see the victorian furniture and decoration of the house. In my opinion, every detail is important and this place is a good example of this philosophy. My rest was deep and relaxed, and in the morning I felt full of energy... But the best was just about to...

Mona is a fabulous host and her breakfast is quite honestly the best i've experienced bar none. I stayed here for five nights while working in the area and...

My fiancee and I have fallen head over heels for Mona and her guest house. From the very start communicating with Mona via emails and phone calls about booking a room to meeting her in the flesh she was very polite, efficient, warm and welcoming. Her charisma, style and sense of humour made us feel we had known her for...
