We decided to visit Skibbereen because it was a place we had often passed through and wanted to see more of. My wife's family were there over 100 years ago. We chose the Bridge House when we read existing reviews and that it had been awarded 'Most Unusual B&B in Ireland' - a title that must take some winning. Mona,...

My husband and I stayed here for one night recently. We were attending the wedding of friends in Skibbereen. We loved our room and the whole uniqueness of the decor. Breakfast was good and at our request Mona served us a late breakfast and we had had a very late night/early morning return to the B&B. The only criticism we...

Before one enters this magical place it's obviously going to be amazing from the outside. Enter, meet lovely Mona and you're whisked through a fantastic hallway to a fabulous room. It's just the best, actually hard to explain it's so wonderful. I can't wait to return and I've told everyone, unique!

We had a superb stay in this guesthouse, it's like stepping into a different world with vintage clothes, mannequins and second hand items adding to the charm of the house. Each room is decorated uniquely and the attention to detail is second to none. Everywhere you look there is are humorous and interesting items like retro hats and funny books...

We were told about Bridge House by a friend and found it to be the most interesting B&B we have stayed in. This place has certainly found its point of difference. Every room is decorated with all sorts of collectables and decorative items and few surfaces remain to put anything else on. After a long days driving, we sunk into...

We spent one night here during a week's visit to Ireland. We stayed in the en-suite room at the front which overlooks the road. Despite initial concerns that it would be noisy, it wasn't & we had a great nights sleep. The decor is quirky & fun, with "stuff" everywhere. Host Mona collects anything & everything which makes all of...

I am not a B&B person but I decided to try out Bridge House and I knew from the start it would be an experience. It is centrally located in the town so perfect for walking about and going out in the evening. I half wondered, if it would be dusty with all the items in-house BUT to my surprise...

The Bridge house is a totally different experience.Mona's photographs adorn the walls. The rooms have too many decorative items which results in confusion. It is too cluttered and dusty . The atmosphere is not fresh despite the use of a strong air freshener All said and done, Mona is a very pleasant host. The breakfast served was good.
