The bed was very uncomfortable (actually lousy). The lock on the door wouldn't engage from the inside so had to sleep with one-eye open. A lot of road noise and there was no coffee in the room. Overall, even though the cost was a value, there are definitely better choices that could have been made.

This B&B is handily located in Glenbeigh just off the main road, walking distance to twp hotels with places to eat, Rossbeigh beach is very close by and it is a great base for exploring the ring of Kerry and beyond. The breakfast was great! The price of the B&B is fair for the accommodation provided. The power in the shower is incredible and the bathroom and room were clean. It was not our first stay in Kerry Ocean Lodge as we were there about 5 years previously and had no issues with the B&B at all. This time however we were in a different room, unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable, the springs from the mattress were poking through, despite turning the mattress around it didn't improve, the bed was also very squeaky and loud. Overall the B&B was good and a fair amount was paid for the 4 days. We also didn't speak to the staff about the issue with the bed at the time as it seemed busy and we were unsure if we would be able to be moved. Overall I would return again for one night but would probably not stay longer than that if returning again.

Another wonderful stay at KOL. The warmth of welcome from the team has certainly not reduced despite their reassuringly strict adherence to Covid-19 guidelines. As always, breakfast was top class and the rooms were spotless. Looking forward to returning next summer.

We felt a warm welcome here, amazing power shower, perfect for after a swim or walk at Rossbeigh beach. Vegetarian breakfast was delicious and great coffee. We will be back again next year, thanks to all the staff who took great care of us.

Stayed as a base for our holiday in the area. The Lodge was perfect for what we were hoping for. We rented two rooms. Both were spacious, and clean with modern shower rooms en suite. Only a 20 minute drive from Killarney, where we chose to eat each evening. Only one draw back. If arriving after 7.00pm make sure that you contact the Lodge and warn them, or the front desk will be closed. We picked this fact up from a previous Tripadvisor review, as the previous reviewer was not aware of this, and had great difficulty as a result.

This B&B is on the main road in Glenbeigh. It is a main road, so rooms facing it are noisy at night. The rooms are adequate and comfortable otherwise. Cleanliness was acceptable. Did have one unpleasant experience during our stay. By coincidence, that same night there was no water throughout the entire village. The B & B hosts did not tell us until very late. They did not suggest any alternative accommodation, and only provided three small bottles of water after we asked why there was no water. They could have handled the situation better, as did other B&Bs in town. Breakfast was average.

Spotted this place by chance as it had a sign up with a good offer. We called in and it was an extra €10 each for breakfast which was well worth it. We were made very welcome our bedroom had a nice en suite and was clean & tidy. We would definitely recommend this place, ideal for doing the ring of Kerry. Charlie & Diane
