Positive points, it's very clean campsite and the village nearby and beach is a picturesque destination. Negative points is that the husband and wife that run the site are not the friendliest, I have never felt so unwelcome on a campsite. Not to mention the fact that this is such a clean site is actually part of the reason I gave the negative review not because of cleanliness of course, but because they literally clean around you why you are trying to use the facilities, without every speaking or acknowledging that you are there. It is basic manors to salute or to say excuse me, or to say "do you mind if I mop around you". I find it incredibly rude the entire stay anytime I tried to use the very basic amenities I felt intimidated or was given disapproving stares like they did not approve of me using the facilities. The daughter on the site was the opposite, she was friendly and accommodating so hopefully if she is taking over this business she will not take on the same habits. For facilities- no toaster, no hob, no oven, no playground, no scooters or bikes for kids for July and August, no TV in a room even though they have a huge space of tables and a pool room next to the reception area that both could take one. The price to camp was very high compared to sites I have visited in Ireland with many more amenities. I get the vibe that if you have a campervan and you are an older quiet couple that pull in you are welcome but if you are the average family of 4 maybe tenting and traveling yearly to different sites you are treated differently.

Stayed in Glenross Caravan and Camping Park recently as a family in large XL tent. Kathy and Sean couldn't do enough for us from the moment we arrived. A really well run site in the beautiful Glenbeigh. Excellent services within the park , great hot showers (€1 for 8 min) Great dinning area and laundry facilities. Def recommend A++ and will return again!! L

Fabulous site, spotlessly clean & very well manicured even after weeks of rain. Only stayed one night as was on our way home but will definitely be back. We had dinner next door in The Olde Glenbeigh Hotel which was fabulous too. Can’t wait to go back, the hotel is fabulous too.

Immaculate camp site just outside the village of Glenbeigh. Manicured grass areas, high quality hard stands, thoughtful layout. Full range of facilities. €39pn including electricity and €1 for 'Misty' our Papillon (it goes to a dogs charity). Hotel next door has dining indoors in a quaint room or in the garden. Rossbeigh beach is about 3km. and well worth a visit.

This is a really lovely site. The view is wonderful towards the Dingle Peninsula and the facilities are kept very clean. The 8-min shower for 1 Euro is good value - plenty of tie for a hair wash! Will defnitely return.

The camping itself is nice (modern showers/laundry), the tent pitch is flat and the camping is not too big which is nice. But it is expensive, even for Irish standards. However, the owner/manager wasn't nice and we didn't feel welcome when we arrived even though we were talking to her in a friendly way. We had an issue with our tent pitch and she answered in an almost passive-agressive way. I also saw her talking in the same passive-agressive way to a customer who had put 2 tshirts to dry in the laundry room (the drying machine costs 6 EUROS). I'm really not a "customer is king" kind of person but it was one of the few times while travelling when I really didn't like the vibe given by the managers. So I wouldn't recommend it if you want to spend a nice time in a place where you feel welcome.

Kathy is an amazing host the place is absolutely spotless from the gate in not a thing out of place😊 immaculate toilets/showers/ laundry room/campers kitchen. Nice lil games room for the kids with pool tables. Walking distance to the village only 5 min stroll, hotel right next door serving food all day 👌 Will definitely return 🙌

We have visited Glenross for over 12 years. One word describes this campsite. “Spotless” Friendly owners and a pleasure to stay there. We always have had a lovely welcome and we are always sorry to leave. We started visiting in a tent, then in a caravan and now in a small camper van.
