Whilst our food and wait staff were both lovely management left alot to be desired, when we arrived we were a group of 8 adults and 8 children, we were not informed at the beginning that our bill could not be split and management were quiet rude in informing us of this at the end of our dining. This left a sour taste to say the least. Unlikely I would return
We often eat here and the food and service is good,my 81 year old mother stayed here three times and they were very helpful and nice to her. Both the restaurant and bar is very nice and both have equal service!
Myself and my family ate in the towers a lot during our holidays a great menu with lots of choices and variety the kids menu was great too the staff were very attentive and pleasant would recommend booking but they did accept walk in also social distancing was observed and implemented without it feeling overwhelming a lovely family run hotel with wonderful staff take a seat and let us take care of you attitude will be back and woul definitely recommend
Where to start. Arrived at Glenbeigh Towers on a Tuesday afternoon, initially quite arriving into the sleepy looking village of Glenbeigh, and seen the hotel, which to be fair had ample parking out the front, next to a small outdoor seating area for their bar/restaurant. Checked in, and shown to the room, which had two different entrances, one through the main hotel, and one through a garden area (we had a dog with us, so had to use this one) The rooms were basic enough, personally I found the beds to be among the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in, but you get what you pay for I suppose. Anyway, upon booking in, we were asked if we would like to eat there that evening, which we agreed to do, booking a table for that evening. Breakfast and dinner is where this place…
Had a lovely lunch out with my family on Friday. We all had toasted specials and chocolate cake for dessert. It was lovely. Our waitress was lovely and friendly. She had no name tag on but would love to say thank you to her. Would recommend a visit for lunch.
We booked in here for a 2 night stay with 2 kids. Upon checking in we were advised to book in for dinner which we did! We arrived down and told we had a booking and every waitress seemed to ask us and run around like they didn’t know anything about it ! We eventually got seated then we had to wait half an hour before anyone came to us! We noticed a number of tables were the same ! We were told only 3 people were on! Food wasn’t great and overpriced ! Rooms were clean! Needs some updating ! No lifts so all stairs ! When checking out no one appeared at the desk after ringing the bell 5 times and trying to search for someone!
Visited here for a dinner with family on 21st July 2020. The only covid regulations I could see was a couple of hand sanitisers. Not one staff member wearing a mask or screens in place. No limit on numbers into toilets. Kids running around inside restaurant. Also was told had to go in a que to pay in a cramped narrow part with staff and patrons passing by. Zero social distancing or compliance. Tables in bar and diners not 2meters apart from tables. They clearly do not care about their staff or the public.
We are staying in Glenbeigh for a week and visited the Glenbeigh Towers hotel bar today for dinner. My daughter has a peanut allergy and our waitress could not have been nicer or more helpful. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name but kudos to her for making our experience just perfect and more comfortable for our six year old who gets scared eating out (due to bad past experiences). Apart from the lovely waitress we had delicious food (esp. the mussels and chowder). All very reasonable too and Covid distancing and regulations very much in place. Hats off to the Glenbeigh Towers, you outshine your competitors in the area... food and friendly staff are just excellent.
My extended family and I (11 of us) rented a house in Glenbeigh Ireland last week (County Kerry). One of the places we ate was the Towers Hotel and Restaurant right there in town. The food was fantastic. We even tried the Spicy Chicken Wings as most of us are from Buffalo NY. They were authentic right down to the blue cheese! Whether it was the vegetable soup, the fish and chips, the burger with bacon or the salmon, all of our food was delicious! Prices were very affordable and portions were plentiful. But the best part of dining there and the reason we stopped in three different times was the friendly hospitality of the staff. Donna, Kiera and Clare were all wonderful and treated us like family from the moment we walked in the door. If you are ever near Glenbeigh,…
I went in for a drink the lady was very friendly and I had a nice pint of Guiness and sat by the warm fire. I ate some mussels which were delicious, was a lovely place to visit on a cold night. I had a lovely time there.
