Visited with two friends Sunday 1st July 2018 First ever stay at / in a hostel We had booked a basic triple room and it was perfect Great location in the Centre O’Grady Glenbeigh village Absolutely superb Spotlessly clean throughout - bedrooms and bathrooms Fantastically equipped kitchen Great staff Highly recommended
We just stayed at The Sleepy Camel for one night but this was the best for the whole trip. Chris - the owner is just a lovely and kind Irish guy. We had some really nice talks. Also the rooms are nice and clean and the kitchen is quite big to cook and sit together. Just across the street there is a nice pub with good live music. :)
We had a wonderful time at the Sleepy Camel! The room was very clean and cozy. The reception was professional yet very welcoming. Everything, from the dining, room and bathroom, was very accessible and appropriate. Rain or shine, you are in good hands throughout with multiple indoor options to pass the time. Family friendly! Looking forward to future endeavors!!! Family friendly! Chris is enlightening and goes above and beyond the call of duty to make the stay not only enjoyable but memorable.
Great hostel, great owner with very friendly greeting. I'd recommand the place for anyone who'd like to experience real Irish sense of hospitality. Close feom the wonderful rossbeigh beach and at walking distance from pubs and restaurants. Ideal base for chilling or just stop from hiking or fishing.
Worst owner ever. Didnt even want to show us the room.. said that we wasted his time and that we should go somwewhere else. When we "waisted his time" he just came from the pub.... poorest hospitality ever. Definitely has the wrong job
