My husband and I spent 3 fantastic days in Fern Rock, Irma and John were the perfects hosts, always available for local information on where the best places to eat and drink in Killorglin whilst making us feel very much at home. The room was very large and spotlessly clean, plenty of hot water and very warm and cosy. There...

This B&B epitomises what I come to Kerry for – good hospitality, service with a smile and good value. Spent two very enjoyable nights at Fern Rock. The room was spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and very quiet. Good choice for breakfast and Irma had our delicious breakfast bang on time (as requested due to our early tee off at Killarney...

We have just spent two February days here, and really appreciated Irma's friendly helpfulness, and the interest she took in suggesting where to go, even tracking down obscure local information for us (where could we launch that boat next Summer!?) We especially appreciated the use of the comfortable guest living room in the evening, with tea/coffee facilities. A good central...

We wish we could have stayed longer as Irma was such a fine hostess and took the time to provide direction. The room we stayed in was excellent as was the breakfast. Having such a accommodating hostess who creates a warm and friendly atmosphere makes this a special B&B that we recommend to all who go to Ireland. It is...

Fernrock is everything a B and B should be: clean, extremely comfortable, well-stocked, with an outstanding hostess and a really excellent breakfast. Irma went out of her way, as she apparently always does, to be helpful with tourism suggestions, directions, and even with making contacts with locals for tracking down distant family. Highly recommended, and a great price, too.

A very reasonably priced and relaxing place to stay before/after the Ring of Kerry (we paid 60euro for the night). There were only 2 of us, but we received a huge room facing out the front of the house, which had a great view. The room & bathroom were clean, beds were comfortable, and the towels were great - soft...
