We visited the B&B as part of our family road trip around IRELAND in July. From the outset we were greeted by John, the owner who showed us to our huge family room. Asked when we fancied breakfast.... we headed into the town and had dinner, it’s only a 5 min walk into the town from the B&B and 2 min walk from a shop. Breakfast was massive, cereals, and a full Irish. Normally I wouldn’t eat Black pudding but the everything on the plate was ate! It saves on having to get lunch out and about. Very friendly all in and all and a great place to stay when exploring Kerry.
We were so very lucky to stay at this B&B, we couldn't have asked for a better one. The owners couldn't do enough to make us feel more welcome with all the best of the Irish hospitality. Perfect "Full Irish" every morning with all the trimmings and a full rundown of everything going on far and wide. If we're ever back in the area it'll be a no brainer for where to stay, in fact, we may come back because of the B&B!
After 3 and a half hours on a train I just wanted a quick check in and a nap and i got exactly that. They just showed me the room and that was it. It's run by a lovely family and there was a proper continental breakfast and option for a fry up included. Comfortable and clean and close to local amenities.
There was the warmest of welcomes from the moment I arrived, the room was spacious and well appointed, and John couldn't have been more helpful. I was woken by the smell of breakfast cooking the next morning, which would have been all right, except for the fact that it was very early! I was about to drive the Ring of Kerry and so this worked well.
Stayed here for two nights for Puck Fair. We had just cycled the Ring of kerry and were glad of a hot shower and cosy beds! We didn't make it at the time we had told the B&B and this caused a problem as we got a call telling us we had to be there ASAP or the room would be given away. Even though we had it booked! However, the location of the B&B is perfect, the Breakfast is great, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Very reasonably priced too for peak season and a high quality accommodation. I would recommend without hesitation.
We stayed here after driving the Ring of Kerry. John was a friendly, helpful host. Our rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Nice location to walk to dinner/shops.
had a very nice stay with john and pauline, would return and tell others to visit, well done and good value. it was good to meet someone who knew our area and was prepared to chat and offer advice. our freinds ha da room on ground floor and i m sure there were 3 beds in it, they d traveled from sussex and were impressed.
A short walk from Killorglin's pubs, restaurants and shops, this B&B is perfectly placed for exploring the Ring of Kerry. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and our hosts were extremely pleasant and helpful. Recommended.
After driving the Dingle Peninsula this was a great place to rest before doing the Ring of Kerry. John and Pauline were very gracious. The Irish breakfast was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend this spot.
Pauline and John were great hosts-very nice and welcoming and very helpful if we had any questions-unfortunately we couldn't get wi fi with the information Pauline gave us but that could have been us.John was very attentive with breakfast and we thought it was good-a fruit salad and yogurt would have been appreciated! He gave us great information about the ring of Kerry which is a must see and do!All in all a very pleasant stay with very few complaints .
