I booked for one night and stayed for two. Very comfortable room with big bed and good shower. Lovely decor with good attention to detail. Very friendly staff - thanks Hazel and Andrew! Good food in the bar and restaurant. Breakfast was substantial - my husband loved the porridge. So glad we stopped in Killorglin and stayed in this hotel. Good adherence to Covid rules - safe environment. Would definitely recommend
There is something old world about the bianconi in the most authentic and best way. The food is fantastic and the staff are very polite and friendly. The Surroundings are great lots of lovely paintings and the fixings are amazing
We checked in for 3 nights over Aug bank holiday weekend. First thing on checking in was the owner/manager (??) commenting "oh you've paid already that's great" but then "just double checking" before he handed us our key cards to go upstairs. The room was beautiful, place was spotless - we overlooked a flat roof with a hum of ductwork but can live with that ! The food is amazing & service is excellent. The major issue is the noise - there's constant fans going, had to ring down to reception at 1am to ask guests using the guest lounge to keep noise down & I'm now writing this at 03.22am & there's singing, shouting & people walking up & down the floor above us 😭 Obviously another guest lounge (which is never a good idea when positioned outside someone else's bedroom !!) It's a pity cos this place is lovely apart from the lack of any apparent management of noisy guests !!…
From start to finish it was a great experience it was a very busy Saturday night but that didn’t stop service being on time I had Monkfish and it was the best I’ve ever tried I can highly recommend anyone to try it .. I live just 20 mins away and plan to visit a lot more
My husband and I had dinner in the Bianconi a few weeks ago. I have to say the food was amazing. The basket of fresh bread accompanied with a tomato dip was delicious. My starter was a brie dish. It was cooked perfectly and the pear and walnut chutney was a tasty contrast with it. My husband had the smokey bacon and cheese burger. This was absolutely amazing. I dont really eat or like burgers (I'm picky with processed meat)but I loved the flavours in this and the beef in it was top quality. I had the pan fried fresh fish of the day. It was a huge portion a pure white delicious fish, accompanied with chips, tarter sause and a pea puree. All this washed down with tasty rioja. Great place for a tasty and filling dinner.
