Breakfast was also a delight, called a wellbeing breakfast - it certainly restored ours! - delicious homemade breads, local cheeses, smoked salmon and homemade preserves.

Lovely B and B we stayed in to visit puck fair, short walk to the town. Lovely comfy rooms and breakfast was good too. Catherine and Tony were lovely hosts. Nice quiet location. And a lovely garden to sit it.
Breakfast was tasty, and there is off-street parking across the road from the hotel.
I stayed for a week in the off-season, and it has been the highlight of my trip to Europe thus far. The Anvil is on a quiet road in a beautiful area, but ideally located for easy access to all of the highlights of...
The owners Julie and Anthony welcomed us with open arms at this bed and breakfast. They are wonderful hosts offering nice rooms for a good price, and an amazing breakfast. I can totally recommend this for anyone doing the ring of Kerry trip.
We stayed here with friends for two nights. There are 2 rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, each with an adjacent bathroom. Rooms are small but clean and well-appointed. You need a car, as this small housing estate is off the beaten track and not within walking distance of shops or pubs located in Glenbeigh or Killorglin. Lovely breakfasts served by the hosts, Julie and Anthony, who offered good suggestions for local hikes and outings. While there is no common area for relaxing indoors, in good weather the picnic table in the backyard is a great place to chat with Julie while she’s feeding the chickens.
I had a wonderful stay at this modern B&B which is perfectly situated for touring the stunning scenery around the Ring of Kerry coastal road or fishing the local waters and easily reached, being only a short drive from Kerry or (slightly further) Cork airports. If you are taking your own car, I'm sure the drive from one of the ports would be very pleasant too. It's situated a little off the beaten track so make sure you follow their directtions carefully ! The property is well presented and the hosts Julie and Anthony were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. I didn't fish during my stay, however Anthony is a very keen fisherman and has a lot of local knowledge and a boat moored on a nearby lake so this would be an ideal spot and a visit to Killorglin or Killarney would keep the non-fishing guests happy too. One of many highlights of my stay was collecting fresh eggs from the hens for a cooked breakfast and I would recommend this property to everyone. Ireland is a beautiful country and Co. Kerry in particular, this is the ideal base ! Highly recommended and I look forward to another visit !…
