We had a lovely stay at the Ben View Guest House in Clifden. The hosts Desmond and Eileen were very friendly and accommodating for our last minute booking. And what a breakfast spread! We’re still talking about how delicious and generous it was! It was a delight to stay there and we can’t wait for another trip to Ireland to visit there again! Thank you so much!

This place is a wonderful B&B that has been family run for decades. I first came here about 1990, and the charm and warmth and service that I experienced then, I still experienced in 2023. All the rooms are different, and I love the myriad of halls and staircases. The breakfast is wonderful, and the hosts are amazing. I would highly recommend.

Great location in the centre of clifden. Des is a fantastic host very knowledgeable about the area. One of the best presented tasty breakfast ever. Nice comfortable bed. The dinning room has a variety of amazing crockery.

A true Irish bed and breakfast run for 97 years by the same family. What a breath of fresh air Desmond is. A true friend in a matter of minutes. He loves his work and it shows. The Irish friendship highlight of our trip and the best breakfast out of our many in Ireland. Clean and well maintained with so many antiques. Stay here for a true Irish feeling.

Des the host was lovely, and made us feel like we were home from home. Great location, lovely staff and a wonderful breakfast. Make sure to ask for their homemade pancakes! Really enjoyable stay. We will definitely return and stay at Ben View if we are in the area again.

Very friendly welcom from Des. Very clean and warm house. Breakfast super great choice of food.Highly recommended. Parking available just across the street and right in the centre of town. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

The rooms in Ben View B&B is big enough with comfy bed and decent big bathrooms. The hosts Des & Aisling are nice, welcoming and ready to help in anyway possible. The breakfast served is too good. Highly recommended.

Best breakfast in Ireland! Even the coffee was perfect. Such a quaint house. A glimpse into a proper town dwelling on the wild Atlantic way. Des is very friendly and the place is spotless. Would visit again. Loved Clifden. Such friendly folks. Very helpful.

Parking is the only downside to Ben View, but we found it to be . just a minor downside. You have to park on the street. Ben View does not have its own parking lot. And, I think we did have to pay a small daily fee to park.
There are more places to choose from in the Clifden area.
