I just finished a 10 day journey around Ireland, and my stay at Ben View House was one of the highlights of my entire trip! Mr. Morris is part greeter, guide, historian, curator, chef and companion. I was thrilled with his welcoming self. I will be back and for sure the Ben View House will be a definite stop along my way! Thank you so much Mr. Morris for your care... Kind regards, Duffy Doherty

There is so much history here and the owner Des is absolutely lovely. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed for one night on our way to Kylemore Abby but could have stayed much longer! Parking was easy on the street right outside and Des let us know they are taking it easy on giving out tickets due to COVID anyway.

We got the most friendly warm welcome from our host Ben, what a lovely person. We couldn’t believe the lovely breakfast we got. Try the pancakes, they really are the best! Great value and lovely experience.

From the moment you stepped in the door you had a warm welcome from Eileen and Desmond. So friendly and polite. The Bed and breakfast is decorated in the lovely colourful flowers on the outside, with free parking after 5.30pm on the Main Street. The B&B is located less than a second from the main street with shops, bars and restaurants, none take bookings so I would recommend going early we ate in Mannions pub it was lovely. Ben view B&B was the the best bed and breakfast we stayed on dying our trip, the decor is warm and welcoming dating back to when the Bed and Breakfast first opened, reminding me of my grandparents house. The rooms are cosy and comfy, with en suite, tea/coffee facilities and TVs. The rooms vary from family to double rooms. Both Eileen and Desmond are excellent hosts. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, So fresh and tasty. The plates, saucers and cutlery are beautiful. I would really recommend this B&B and will definitely be back.
