The place is as reviews note, all good. Also, well located on main street across from grocery so convenient as well. We stayed recently however, and though it's no fault of the innkeepers, were there while the street is being torn up and re-paved. Heavy machinery early to late, so no sleeping past 7, and even to spend time peacfully...

We only stayed one night in this delightful B&B and were sad to leave. This gorgeous old house was close to everything and Sheila was a great host. The rooms were delightful, the sitting room was cozy and the breakfast divine. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Clifden, especially the pubs, the friendly locals and the traditional music!

This B&B was cute, classy, cozy and served a spectacular cooked to order breakfast! The hosts were attentive and really helpful, as we had people in our group who were older and needed some special attention. Sheila even made a birthday cake for my grandpa complete with candles and singing! Really brilliant place, we spent Good Friday curled up by...

We drove down from Westport to Clifden to stay at Sea Mist House. The directions on the website were spot on (highly recommend following them as the town is a number of one-way streets). The location of Sea Mist House was only a few doors down from the center of town and they had off-street parking which was nice. Sheila...

Beautiful 200 year old home with real charm and warmth. Private parking in the heart of Clifden. Walk to everything downtown. Shelia is a true professional. The room was perfect for the three of us. Loved the sitting room with fireplace! Nice collection of books to read throughout the house. The breakfast room is all glass - just beautiful. The...

After a small and lovely email exchange, this was one of our pre-booked B&Bs on our round-trip of Ireland - and boy did it pay off. From the moment Sheila welcomed us at the door until our departure on the next day, we felt completely at home in this wonderfully restored early 19th century house. The room under the roof...

We stayed in this delightful house for one night in summer 2013. The house itself was a beautiful old townhouse practically in the centre of Clifden. There was a lovely relaxed feeling about the place despite the slightly grand architecture. Guests had the run of the place including the comfortable sitting room complete with turf fire. We had a room...

Sea Mist House is my favourite kind of B & B as it is an older home, tastefully decorated and with a sense that it is truly lived in by a welcoming and gracious hostess. As other reviewers have pointed out, Sea Mist House is ideally located in Clifden, which is itself very attractive. It's an easy walk to the...

This is a large place with various levels and rooms but we felt as it we were in our own wing. Our room was huge with a comfortable king size bed. There is a lovely guest lounge with a fireplace and a library half way up the stairs. The breakfast was very good and served in their breakfast room/conservatory. A...

We stayed at Sea Mist for two nights in September 2013. The house is located right near the town center so park your car and walk to the pubs. The house is great and the breakfasts were great. Our only complaint was we were on the third floor and its up a narrow staircase. The roof is slanted there and...
