Kathleen and Alan were incredibly kind. The rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated. The smoked salmon and scrambled eggs breakfast is a must! I definitely recommend taking the trail up to the viewpoint where the bishop's bench is. You can access it from the back of the house by the garden (follow the wooden sign).

We stayed at Mallmore in John D'Arcy Room for 3 nights. Alan gave us a very warm welcome and we felt at home right away. He showed us to our room immediately and we were awed by the sheer size of the room. A king size bed and a coffee area with 2 arm chairs overlooking the garden and the...

We stayed for two nights and slept great both nights. We had time to walk down by the ruins and the water one...

Our room had a beautiful garden view from which we could view the water. A young red fox was curiously exploring the garden when we arrived. The house is truly special. It feels as if you are stepping back in time since the house has been tastefully restored. Alan was a gracious host and pointed us in the direction of...

Yep, Mallmore is the best B&B in Ireland and here is why: First, the owners, Cathleen, Allan, and their beautiful daughter are absolutely kind, attentive, and dedicated to their guests. They keep the beautiful old estate perfectly clean, and make it feel like your home too. The rooms are big, creatively decorated, with comfy beds, soft towels, and lots of...
