Mallmore Country House is very a very special inn. The home is beautiful and the grounds have gardens and it is secluded down a gravel road. The rooms are very large and furnished with antiques. There was a sitting area in the room with a beautiful picture window over looking the gardens. Breakfast was very good. It was a 20... More

This lovely place was a former hunting lodge with beautiful furnishings and large, comfortable rooms.. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. It is located a short distance outside Clifden down a single track road. A bit far for a walk to town at night. Breakfast was cooked to order and excellent.

I can't understand why this is not No.1 on Tripadvisor. It was by far the best standard of all our B&Bs in Ireland. In a lovely peaceful setting. Our room was like a suite, with lovely views over the garden. Alan and Kathleen were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were excellent, a good selection of healthy options as well... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Mallmore House B&B. The 18th century home is beautiful. It was a delightful, restful and comfortable stay. Sitting in the parlor having tea/coffee by the peat fire is something unique and will be remembered. Breakfast was very good, and the innkeepers were very nice and helpful too. The grounds and gardens were wonderful to... More

We received a very warm welcome. They have a beautifully decorated and cosy sitting room where we read our books the whole evening. Breakfast was delicious and fresh with a big menu to choose from. Very friendly hosts. The house itself is beautifully renovated. I would definitely go back there!

We stayed at Mallmore Country Home for two nights in June. It is a charming home in a beautiful location. We had two rooms and both were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast room was lovely and the food excellent. The host was very helpful and friendly. The town of Clifden is a short drive away which didn't bother us. I... More

This was our second stay in Mallmore for that simple reason, that everything is perfect. I hope, that Alan and Cathleen when they are on holiday will be given the same kind treatment with good humour in beautiful surroundings, as they have given to all their guests. So many thanks.

This is an historic home so adjustments need to be made for that. But it was beautiful, close enough to town but down a secluded road so you felt you were out in the middle of nowhere Breakfast was great with a variety to choose from I would return here in a heartbeat
