Detailed Reviews
I stayed here for two nights during my cycle tour along the wild Atlantic way. The B & B's location is set above the renowned Sky road with a splendid coastal view. So peaceful too.
My room was spacious, well equipped & extremely clean. I particularly liked the host's personal items used to decorate the room. The bathroom, though small, had everything in working order. Wifi was very good also.
I slept very well on both nights, drawing back the curtains to admire the starry skies above. The stars' clarity in the sky showing me just how remote the location is.
Breakfast on both mornings was a delight for my tastebuds. I received a cooked breakfast made to order by the host. Toast, yoghurt, fruit & numerous other items were also available to eat.
The host's frendliness & attention to detail with all things were much appreciated by me. I left here with such happy memories. I thoroughly recommend this B & B.

Room Tip: Go the long way to the B & B along the Sky Road starting in Clifden for wonderful coastal views.

We spent 2 nights there. Very warm welcome. Very nice room, decorated with great taste. Comfortable bed, very nice view. Quiet. Breakfast at the top with fresh and homemade products (salted butter caramel, jam etc...). The property owner advised us well for our restaurant outings. Our stay was perfect. We should have stayed longer, too bad. This B&B is made for people who want a zen and quiet atmosphere. The goal is achieved. Thanks.

Stayed 3 nights at this wonderful B&B just outside of Clifden. Lydie is a great hostess. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was a choice of full Irish breakfast or pancakes. Both were delicious. Lydie offered us suggestions for our visits around the area and she was right on. Everything she suggested turned out to be just what we wanted. She is very helpful and considerate. A really great B&B experience.

Room Tip: Narrow little road to the B&B (typical of Ireland). Just take your time. It's worth the drive.

Let's start with the positives:
Location on the beautiful Sky Road, breathtaking view, it’s magnificent. A large parking lot in front of the house allowed us to park our 9 motorcycles.
Breakfast excellent quality and quantity
Negative points :
We were happy to meet a compatriot (from Marseille), what a disappointment! The first evening I asked her to call 2 taxis to take us into town for dinner, she refused on the pretext that if it was her who called they would not come (?) the next evening at my insistence she called anyway.
Returning from the restaurant at 8:20 p.m. we asked if it was possible to have a drink in the breakfast room. After 10 minutes, she came in saying no it wasn't going to do it, too much noise. We start talking slowly and 1 hour later we say belote again.
So definitely don’t go in a group!
The bathroom in our room was dated and had a ridiculous flow of water in the shower. The 2nd Day we came back soaked from our motorbike ride, I asked him to put on a little heating, to dry our clothes, no problem, but the radiator remained ice cold until the morning….
And last thing, we had the unpleasant feeling of being constantly spied on.
In short, we are very, very far from the warm welcome of the Irish

Located on Clifden’s sky road, this property is a haven of peace.
View of an inlet. The view changes with the tides.
Our room (the 3) was comfortable. Breakfast home made in buffet form.
We talked a lot with the property owner who recommended pubs and restaurants in Clifden.
Frankly, I would like as much hospitality and kindness in France because it is patent that we do not know how to receive our tourists .....

The house is fantastically located. Away from the hustle and bustle, very idyllic.
The hostess is very friendly.
Unfortunately, our room on the ground floor was extremely noisy. We heard every detail from above. Unfortunately, this is unacceptable.
The bathroom is very much in need of overhaul. Breakfast rather mediocre.

The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view. It feels very secluded when there which is great for sleeping BUT it is only a 5 min drive to Clifden or 10 min to Letterfrack.
Host was fantastic and the freshly cooked breakfast was divine, would definitely reccomend the pancakes.
We were promptly welcomed and checked-out because of the restrictions at the moment, which was a tiny bit unfortunate. It did not take away from the stay.
Very clean and Covid19 ready facility.

Warm welcome in a very classic B&B. Great location on the waterfront on the Sky Road, perfectly quiet as it is a bit far from Clifden. Very cozy room where it lacks however hooks to hang clothes and wet towels which is embarrassing. Good breakfasts.

Right on the Sky Road, in a quiet position and directly overlooking the lagoon, this property is very nice, clean and well looked after. The owner is friendly and helpful, the room given to us is spacious and well organized with a beautiful view. Recommended!
