Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great to be able to get away for a few days again our first stop was here just outside of Clifden. This B&B is in a perfect location to access shops and restaurants but also in great location for sea views and for going exploring. The famous sky road is also near. Our host was a lovely lady and very welcoming 😊 and made an amazing full irish breakfast.

My friend and I visited Clifton on 6th January and were lucky to find this ideal bnb. The owner, Frederique is an excellent host and looked after us really well. The rooms are tastefully and artistically decorated and I must say the ensuite bathrooms are the most spacious I have seen. The toiletries were very high quality. Frederique prepared a freshly cooked breakfast for us and also provided fresh fruit, home made bread, marmalade and little cherry pastries. The views are stunning, overlooking the bay. This is a bnb with a difference and very much worth a visit

This is one of the nicest B&Bs I have stayed in. It is beautifully decorated and maintained to a very high standard. The bedrooms and en-suites are well stocked and the breakfast was varied and tasty. The owner, a French lady named Frederique, was very welcoming and helpful. And if this wasn’t enough its setting is sublime. It’s a short drive outside the town overlooking Clifden Bay and is very close to the gorgeous Sky Road drive. Highly recommended.

We received a warm welcome from Frederique who showed us to a lovely large room, spotlessly clean, with terrific views of the Atlantic bay and sea. The room reflected her French style and chic. The bed was comfy, wifi worked well and there was plenty of hot water.

Breakfast was a quality affair…the freshest fruit salad I’ve tasted. Lots of nice breads and jams and any hot food combination you desire. We chuckled when we got poached eggs, having asked for boiled eggs…something got lost in translation!

Frederique is a sublime hostess and this is a quality B&B … highly recommended.

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable room. Beautifully tranquil location overlooking the bay. Relieved to find there was no tv, so wonderfully quiet at night, only the sound of seabirds, ( there is wifi for those who need entertainment and a lounge downstairs). Breakfast was lovely, freshly prepared fruit salad, and my chosen combination of eggs and smoked salmon, other options but essentially simple fresh food. In my opinion much better than a massive spread of prepacked 'E' numbers! Would love to stay again. Thank you Frederique.

This place is a marvel, a paradise.
Frédérique, the host, is a wonderful person, who welcomed us with extraordinary kindness and kindness.
The bedroom is perfect, with an en-suite shower room. The sea view is magnificent!
The included breakfast is simply plentiful and delicious.
Frédérique is full of advice, and directed us to non-touristy places that are worth the detour!
We will come back !

Unforgettable!
In a wonderful setting and a lovely house, decorated with great taste and excellent comfort. Cleanliness impeccable, professional welcome and very warm. Everything is thought and done with a big heart, including breakfast
A real jewel value for Award, ideal geographical position to stay in this beautiful region of Connemara.
Sea, beaches, mountains, lakes, forests on both sides.
Very friendly pubs and beautiful addresses just a few kilometers away, unmissable restaurants
Thank you Frédérique and see you soon.

Lovely oceanfront guesthouse in Clifden Bay. A stone's throw from Connemara Park. The view is magnificent and the change of scenery is complete. The warm welcome from Frédérique, French, is perfect. His advice is valuable. Comfortable rooms. Hearty Irish breakfast. Many restaurants and pubs in Clifden.

It was a fantastic stay and Frederique was a perfect host.
Very tastefully decorated house/room with sea view.
First-class breakfast with excellent homemade products.
Lots of tips for the region and the rest of the trip.
If we had known that in advance, we would have stayed longer.
