A great central hotel in Clifden Town, very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice bedroom at back of hotel not a great view but nice and quiet, had everything we needed for our stay, and was spotless clean. did not see a elevator for the rooms so just be mindful if you feel it necessary. Lovely breakfast served by smiling staff,...

Glad you enjoyed your stay with us and that you enjoyed your dinner in our restaurant. Apologies if you had to wait in restaurant. We also serve food in the bar so maybe there were a few orders in. Stairs are not normally a problem as we only have rooms on 2 floors. Pleased you liked our central location and...

I paid a flying visit to the Alcock and Brown over the Easter holidays, and I could not have been more impressed with the lovely staff. I was greeted by "The two Sharons" who booked me in and were loads of fun. Working in customer service for a multinational myself, having great customer service is hard to come by. Plenty...

Simply, we have nothing but praise for this wonderful town centre boutique hotel. It was warm and friendly and the staff were really helpful when we asked of we could stay another few nights. Yes, we stayed five more nights! You'll find everything in its place and a place for everything they even had art from local artists on display...

Thank you so much for your nice review. So happy that you felt so welcome and extended your stay with us. People enjoy looking at the display on the walls of our bar with information on Alcock & Brown. Our front facing rooms have a view over the Square and are very popular with returning guests and are not normally...

We stayed in the hotel for Clifden Trad Fest and were plesantly surprised. The bedrooms have been revamped. The bathroom is still dated but we weren't expecting luxury. We only wanted a place to sleep. The girls on reception were super friendly. The breakfast was lovely. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water from taps in the sink (didn't shower...

We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and that you appreciated our newly refurbished features in the hotel. Regarding socket for phone charger, you must not have noticed newly installed sockets conveniently located on a clear wall for easy access. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back very soon! Regards, Aideen

We booked here as our usual spot was booked out and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The new owners have done a fab job on the A&B. Stayed here a few years ago and was not expecting much but, from the front of house to the the food, to the rooms and the bar, it was really really...

I didn't stay here but after a memorable trip up the sky road we called in for coffee and a toastie. I wanted to use the bathroom when I got there and the doors were locked with a sign to say for residents only. I asked the lady in reception and she told me there was a public toilet across...

Thank you for your review. However, the detail of your review is not accurate. Our toilets are for the use of our customers. There is a sign on the door which reads ...."Our toilets are for the use of our residents and customers only". If you were actually having a coffee and sandwich, you would have been provided with a...

Last Saturday my wife and I had one of the most memorable meals we have had in quite a while. The menu to say the least was really quite breathtaking with 8 starters and 14 main courses. I chose the smoked duck pastrami as a starter with the braised beef speciality as a main. They were both delicious and I...

We had a great visit while in Clifden. Room was large and clean and shower was very hot! The room was a bit warm but we just cracked a window for fresh air. The breakfast was great and staff at the hotel were very friendly, however they didn't seem very knowledgeable about the town. Scenery surrounding is absolutely beautiful. Would...

This hotel is tired, dated and cold. Myself and a group of friends stayed here recently and were not impressed by the rooms, cleanliness or heating system. On the first night none of us could have a hot shower, the tap on one of the bath tubs wouldn't turn so the bath had to be filled from the shower. The...

Stayed here during the summer. Fantastic location and even though there was no parking on-site clear directions were given on check in of the best place to park. Nice homely feel in reception area and bar, breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious with plenty of bread/croissants and fruit/cereals also. Room was clean, however TV is literally tiny and it's a...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. I am happy that overall you enjoyed your stay. We did have a serious leak on the night you stayed and it was a little chaotic for an hour or so. We thought we had got to talk with everyone affected, and we laid on free drink in the Bar that night to...
