Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely house right at the edge of Clifden town on the main road in from Galway, short walk in, less than 10 minutes. We booked with short notice on what was a very busy weekend for the town with 3,000 cyclists including us descending on them. I hadn't seen the property online, my husband got the number by ringing around local guesthouses to find accommodation. So glad he got the number for this place! Room was very spacious, spotless room and bathroom, as was the whole house. Liam was really friendly and helpful. Shower cubicle was quite small but lovely hot shower with good pressure. Breakfast not offered but tea and coffee facilities in every room and there are shops and supermarkets within 200M that offer fresh bread, pastries and cooked breakfast items, there is a large dining room you can use; or a few minutes walk will bring you to lots of cafes/restaurants. We were very happy with our stay and thought it was good value for money at at time when some other establishments could have taken advantage of the demand to raise rates. Lots of room for parking, free wifi, quiet at night as it is set back a nice distance from said main road. Would definitely recommend!! Tip: we thought there was only one pillow each, a quick glance in the wardrobe just before we left revealed extra pillows :-)

We were unable to camp at Clifden eco camping site due to the weather.

All the Twos was on our route and thankfully were able to accommodate us. The family room was perfect for our needs and clean.

Breakfast was available at a discounted rate at Woodfield Hotel.

I would give 5 stars instead of 4 , but as that wouldn't be proffseional. Used the place for at least 2 years at least 2 weekends per month for business travel, room are big , nice , clean, place quite, I never had breakfast even when offered , but place is modern, clean, no bad smells, in room for me there was plenty of tea, coffee ...etc, good light. Extra electric heater. Always filtered clean water , although other part of town water is yellow! Place recommended, I new owner good person.

Stayed here for the Tour de Conemara cycling event and never again.
On arrival we were asked to settle the bill which is no issue, but we were then told, oh by the way, we dont offer breakfast?? Really?? First B&B I've ever stayed in with no breakfast on offer.
Dark and dingy interior, seriously dated. Beds not bad for comfort but the bed linen ripped and tatty.
I will not return and would say it is a place to avoid. Location not great either. Much better around, closer to Clifden centre.

Yeah what can I say a B&B with no breakfast which certainty leaves paying a premium price for a room ! Fantastic location just on the outskirts of the town within very easy walking distance to town centre. Room was specious and clean. Plenty of parking facilities.

A brilliant experience staying here. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a spacious, clean & breezy house. Maureen, the land lady is an absolute gem. So friendly, warm and professional. The room was perfect for 4 people. Very clean and lots of space.

Thought it overpriced. Breakfast nothing to write home about shower not working too well , bedrooms clean close enough to Clifton town . It’s more style than substance , got an attitude from the host like she’s doing you a massive favour letting you stay , when staying in a bnb one likes to relax and feel comfortable. We weren’t feeling this on our stay so we won’t frequent again ..

Not impressed with this place. Booked online with booking. com and didn’t realise I had booked a bong refundable deal until I received a confirmation email. We arrived in the afternoon but as events transpired we received a family call and had to leave within 5 minutes of arriving. Was told couldn’t get refund for that night and the following one as « things were out of their hands » and was managed by booking.com. No sympathy was offered in any shape or form concerning our family emergency but rather was told by the owner «  well I would never make a non refundable booking ».
The fact that this was a non refundable was, as eluded to earlier, far from clear from the offset. Considering a family emergency arose we felt it was unacceptable to be bounced between booking.com and this place. Not impressed with the lack of communication either despite numerous emails sent on our behalf.

All the Twos is a modern yet cosy B&B on the outskirts of Clifden village, within a very easy stroll of the town centre. We have just returned from an overnight stay there, and it was excellent on all fronts. Maureen, the proprietress gave us a very warm welcome on arrival, and showed us to a beautiful double room. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and lovely and cosy, with large bathrooms, flat screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The bed was most comfortable. There is plenty of parking for guests. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, with hot breakfasts cooked to order. There are lovely common rooms, and a great stocked bookshelf and reading chair tucked in under the main staircase. There is also a lift, which I have never seen in a B&B. All the Twos is more like a boutique hotel than a B&B, and the warm welcome from the owners makes it a truly memorable experience.

We have stayed with Maureen and Brendan on several occassions and words cannot describe how good the above location is. Maureen is the most welcoming and obliging person you could ever meet. There is no request that is too much and she cannot do enough for her guest. The rooms are all ensuite and extremely large. The rooms themselves are better that some hotels and there is ample parking at the back of the house for horse boxes jeeps etc. The house very well located directly across from the Clifden Mart sales and it also in walking distance from the Clifden Showgrounds and fro the town centre. It is no accident that people who stay at all the twos return again again and againas the standard of food service and hospitality is beyond comparison of anything we have previously experienced in Clifden. Claire and Danny
