A brilliant experience staying here. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a spacious, clean & breezy house. Maureen, the land lady is an absolute gem. So friendly, warm and professional. The room was perfect for 4 people. Very clean and lots of space.
Yeah what can I say a B&B with no breakfast which certainty leaves paying a premium price for a room ! Fantastic location just on the outskirts of the town within very easy walking distance to town centre. Room was specious and clean. Plenty of parking facilities.
Stayed here for the Tour de Conemara cycling event and never again. On arrival we were asked to settle the bill which is no issue, but we were then told, oh by the way, we dont offer breakfast?? Really?? First B&B I've ever stayed in with no breakfast on offer. Dark and dingy interior, seriously dated. Beds not bad for comfort but the bed linen ripped and tatty. I will not return and would say it is a place to avoid. Location not great either. Much better around, closer to Clifden centre.
Not impressed with this place. Booked online with booking. com and didn’t realise I had booked a bong refundable deal until I received a confirmation email. We arrived in the afternoon but as events transpired we received a family call and had to leave within 5 minutes of arriving. Was told couldn’t get refund for that night and the following one as « things were out of their hands » and was managed by booking.com. No sympathy was offered in any shape or form concerning our family emergency but rather was told by the owner « well I would never make a non refundable booking ». The fact that this was a non refundable was, as eluded to earlier, far from clear from the offset. Considering a family emergency arose we felt it was unacceptable to be bounced between booking.com and this place. Not impressed with the lack of communication either despite numerous emails sent on our behalf.…
The b&b is pleasant and clean. The room was large and comfortable. We got our own key to the front door. Ours had a rough spot and opening the door took several tries. The walk to town is quick and well-lighted. We spent several evenings in trad pubs celebrating our 50th anniversary. We followed Peter for the two evenings in two different pubs, the Lowery and the Griffen. Peter dedicated several songs to us.
Very nice proprietor, very helpful. No lift or elevator. Nice, clean room (slightly dated). It's possible to walk to town but we drove. Breakfast was good - a small buffet then a custom hot basic breakfast. Good.
Terrible b&b. Uncomfortable, basic and food not good. Beds shocking, asked for more pillows which didn’t happen. No wifi in room which we were told there was. Asked twice by worker if bill was settled On leaving, which it was in advance. Food not good for breakfast. Was told 8 min walk to centre. It’s not and taxis are hard to get. Was a fortune for two nights. Also room was not as described, had a fold up bed as one of them!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at all the twos guesthouse. Maureen and her husband Brian are genuine salt of the earth people who offer beautiful spacious and modern accommodation very close to Clifden town. Parking there is no issue even with a 30 seater bus. Fantastic breakfast and a service with a smile. I stayed here on a work trip and the local launderette "Hillview" even deliver your laundry back there to reception at a very reasonable price. A huge thank you to Jimmy for that. All in all I could not say anything negative. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Clifden.
This place feels like home in the best possible way. It’s welcoming (as are the owners and staff) and very comfortable. Our room was very large with a bath and shower. The breakfast was delicious too!
We had headed off on a motorbike run for the bank holiday and decided to stay in All the twos after touring across Ireland The rooms are comfy, spotless, and airy. The breakfast is tasty and very well presented. The lady who organises the breakfast area is very helpful and attentive. After breakfast you can relax in the adjoining lounge. It’s a very well organised b&b by Maureen and there is no doubt we will return.
