The Adare Country House was a great place to make our home while visiting Adare. Eileen and Dennis were very gracious hosts and had great suggestions for places for music and good food and laundry. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. We definitely recommend the Country House to anyone visiting the Adare area.

Lovely place to stay. Rooms were spacious and spotless. Host was lovely and welcoming. Good variety of food for breakfast. Separate TV room to relax in evenings. Plenty of room for parking. 2min walk into town. Great base for visiting other tourist attractions. Would highly recommend.

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at the Adare Country House, the first was 10 years ago. The beds are still really comfy, the rooms are spacious, a delicious breakfast is included and it’s a great price! Eileen is a wonderful hostess, she is such a pleasure to talk with as are her son and husband. Adare is a lovely little village and there are lots of things to do within an easy days drive so it’s a great home base for a few days or a week and The Adare County House is the ideal spot to stay while in Adare. It is a short walk into town for restaurants and the large visitors center as well as the church and shops. There are certainly more expensive places to stay in Adare, but none more comfortable or pleasant than The Adare Country House.

What a lovely place and very well maintained. Both host and hostess were wonderful and inviting. The bed was wonderful and the breakfast was excellent. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in town. In the past you could want the grounds of Adare Manor without being a guest. Now you must either be a guest or have reservations to eat there. It’s worth it to see the beautiful grounds.

A guy at Bill Chawke pub recommended us this guest house and it was the best decision ever! Stayed in a room on the first floor, bed was very comfy, warm atmosphere and the breakfast was amazing! When we come back to Tarbert next time we will definitely visit Adare again and stay this place!

This is the most welcoming place you could ever stay. I had the best night sleep on the very comfortable bed and the breakfast was amazing. It is a short walk to the beautiful village of Adare where we had a great dinner at Sean Collins Pub. The icing on the cake was when, upon discovering that my daughter left her purse with her passport behind, Denis drove straight away to meet us at Shannon Airport and hand delivered it. Highly recommend!

We used to stay at the Adare Manor until they renovated and then tripled their prices, so our days there are over. This time we stayed at the Adare Country House, which was a great value and everything we needed. As others have noted, Eileen and Dennis are wonderful, friendly hosts. You will feel very welcome and well taken care of at this excellent small inn.

Myself and my husband stayed here for a night on our way to Kerry. Eileen and Dennis couldn’t have done enough for us. They were so welcoming and hospitable and cooked us a great breakfast in the morning. Our room was huge and quiet and comfortable with everything we needed. The house is in a super location- walking distance to the town. Thanks so much for a great stay! We’ll be back 😊
