This is a very quiet site outside the town of Adare. Simple and basic but perfect if you are looking for peace and tranquility. Not a huge site which leads to it’s peacefulness. Not A lot to do in this area though. Adare town is a lovely town.

Overall - 8 out of 10. A really lovely little site that can cater well for all types of caravans and tents etc. We only stayed for one night while making our way back up home (towards Belfast) but the stay was really lovely Booking Process - 10 out of 10 Booking was made online and with ease. Confirmation came by email straight away. We only paid a deposit upon booking and paid the rest in checkin. Pitch - 8 out of 10 We had the opportunity to select our own pitch. All the pitches are a little different. Different shapes and sizes. If the site was busy and you wanted to put up an awning you may struggle as some had very very small grass areas beside the hard standing for the caravan. Close by to each pitch was water tap, electric and Grey waste water. Toilets / Showers - 9 out of 10 The toilet / shower block was, overall, very good. The shower cubicle was a really really good size. It was one of the biggest we been in this season. It was a little bit dated but didn’t bother me in the slightest. The only reason I didn’t give it 10 was that you had to pay for the showers. I don’t agree with payment for showers. However, it was only 50cent for 7 minutes which was good value I suppose. Noise - 10 out of 10 The site was perfectly quiet by 11pm and it stayed this way all the night through. So, overall, a really great stay. Delighted that we stopped over here.

What a lovely little site . Very simple and clean . The owner and his wife always had a word as they passed and Hugh seemed to be on site day and night . It is a bit out of town and would be lovely to have a little shop on site for bread milk and maybe a ice cream fridge would be a good idea . Toilet and showers basic but clean . It’s very safe for kids . Would definitely return again

Myself, my two friends and our kids spent one night in this lovely and well maintained site and wished we had longer to stay! It was very safe for the children with a lovely playground and open greens to play ball. The only thing I would have changed is the position of out tents (this was our own fault, as we were told to pick where we wanted, but we wished we stayed at the playground side to watch the kids having fun). There was plenty privicy from other campers as there was lovely mature hedges all around. The owner Hugh and his wife were an absolute pleasure to talk to and very generous with their time. The toilet facilities was clean and perfectly maintained. We didn't get to use the kitchen facilities as it was closed due to Covid but we were made aware of this prior to arrival and we were self sufficient. I would highly recommend a stop off in this safe and friendly caravan / camp site. We will return soon! Thanks for being so kind to the kids with your time. They had a ball!!!

We stayed here for a week and the owner and his niece could not of been more helpful ! Very informative and answered any questions we had. My children had a lovely time and we had no problems with animals (in fact the children loved the donkeys). It was a little bit noisy on the bank holiday but families were having fun and it was only for a couple of days ! We stayed for a week and it was much quieter after the bank holiday. Would recommend !
