We stayed for 5 nights here in our family tent our first camping trip with our 3 girls . The campsite was very well kept and plenty of space to set up. Marie was very helpful and close by when needed anything. The toilets and showers were cleaned daily, They also have a laundry room to use at a small cost. The kids had a great time at the playground making plenty of friends, the campsite has a quiet by 10pm policy in place for children which is a great help to get them back into the tent! Thank you for a lovely stay looking forward to next year.
Stayed here and site was very clean. Beside the lovely village of adare limerick. We enjoyed out stay here. Not a really big site but kepted well. Would recommend a stay here. Close enough to co Clare also.
We had a lovely stay here. Its a nice quiet campsite. The facilities were cleaned a couple of times a day which was great. The kids weren't too impressed with the playground, it could do with an upgrade but there's a lovely playground a couple of kms around in adare
We stayed here for one night in motorhome on way back from kerry to n ireland. Was a pleasant stopover with a rural feel to the site as its a few miles out of adare town. The 4 of us took bikes into adare to get evening meal but you do have to take care on roads into the town, especially when hit the main road where have to say we used the footpaths. Town is nice to walk around and get food
We stayed for 5 nights and had an absolutly fantastic time everything is close. The campsite itself is spotless, and quiet ideal for getting kids to sleep. We have 3 kids and they had a ball and made loads of friends. Hugh who owns the site is most definitely a gentleman above all gentlemen the most sincere and genuine man you could ever meet.Thank you so much Hugh and can't wait to visit next year.
Stayed one night on our cycling trip from Dublin to Limerick. Nice grassy area for the tent with some shade, which was essential, since it was +29 that day! Toilets and showers are clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
Stayed here for 4 days, absolutely loved it, despite arriving in the middle of a torrential rain storm. The park is set in a lovely quiet field, with hard stands for the campers\caravans, and grass for the tents. Lovely big shower cubicles and plenty of hot water, and clean toilets. There is a small playground for the kids which was well used. Hugh and Margaret were generally always around (Hugh on his bike) checking in with campers to ensure there were no issues. The campers kitchen is closed due to Covid, but there is an outdoor sink, fridge\freezer, microwave and mobile charging point. Sites are a good size with lots of room for awnings. Will definitely be back.
Myself, wife and 2 children had booked in for two nights, the welcome was warm and the setting was fantastic. Unfortunately the lack of on site services was disappointing and after a long day of driving, having to drive out again even for milk or something basic was a bit of a pain. In the evening at 11pm while waiting for my kids at the toilet block who had been brushing their teeth, myself and other parents were suddenly being herded away and told to stop loitering! And not in a mannerly way! The next morning we decided to not avail of the second night we had booked. This is NOT a site for children. We did receive a refund which was appreciated. I'd recommend this site for older campers as a stop over site.
We only stayed 1 night as we were travelling on to West Cork. A lovely welcome by the owner. What a beautiful quite well run site. Toilets were spotless. Play area for kids. Will definitely stay longer when in the area again.
This was our second stay at Adare Camping, and once again we enjoyed it. We arrived midweek, with the caravan, so had our pick of pitches which are hard standing and level. Lovely and quiet through the week but it does get very busy on weekends. Shower blocks very well kept, and spacious and Hugh and Margaret are always around with a friendly wave and chat. Adare is a short drive away, and there are plenty of coffee shops and pubs, plus a takeaway chipper which is worth using. We took our dog walking at Curraghchase, the Greenway and to the Demesne at Newcastle West. We will be back to visit again.
