Detailed Reviews
We stayed here for 1 night, on arrival we were given our choice of pitch, we chose a lovely little corner beside a nice garden/picnic area. The site had everything we needed, spotless huge shower stalls which were well maintained and only cost 50c, there was a laundry room with iron, recycling and rubbish disposal were also provided. There was a campers cooking area complete with fridge and freezer, a wash up area and fresh water throughout the site. We noticed a lovely play area where children were having a great time! This site is idyllic for everyone, would highly recommend it and will definitely return this summer for a longer stay.
Thanks, from Finbarr and Sharon.

We stayed for 5 nights here in our family tent our first camping trip with our 3 girls . The campsite was very well kept and plenty of space to set up. Marie was very helpful and close by when needed anything. The toilets and showers were cleaned daily, They also have a laundry room to use at a small cost.
The kids had a great time at the playground making plenty of friends, the campsite has a quiet by 10pm policy in place for children which is a great help to get them back into the tent! Thank you for a lovely stay looking forward to next year.

Stop over on our trip around Ireland. Very clean and friendly site. We had the pick of pitches as very near the end of the season. But all pitches had gravel and grass with plenty of space between pitches. Toilets and showers very clean
Location very quiet and peaceful
Would recommend staying if you want to see beautiful Ireland

Just back from a week long trip in our caravan which we extended due to having such a lovely time. The site has such a lovely friendly atmosphere. Nicely spaced out pitches with great electrical supply. Hugh and all the staff are great, always on hand, so helpful and down to earth. The toilets and showers are spotless, books and games in the campers kitchen kept the kids entertained, they loved when the donkey came to visit. The hot hub was a lovely treat and a great way to finish off the evenings. We will definitely be back!! Thanks Hugh and family for a lovely camping experience.

Myself, wife and 2 children had booked in for two nights, the welcome was warm and the setting was fantastic. Unfortunately the lack of on site services was disappointing and after a long day of driving, having to drive out again even for milk or something basic was a bit of a pain. In the evening at 11pm while waiting for my kids at the toilet block who had been brushing their teeth, myself and other parents were suddenly being herded away and told to stop loitering! And not in a mannerly way! The next morning we decided to not avail of the second night we had booked. This is NOT a site for children. We did receive a refund which was appreciated. I'd recommend this site for older campers as a stop over site.

We were stopping over for 2 nights on our way home from a trip to Kerry. As we had kids we were put in the side of the campsite that had the playground. The other part looked a lot nicer, more standard for a caravan and awning pitch. The playground was extremely poor. It was just 2 slides and 2 swing sets. They advertise their hot tub but it is 5 euro per person for half an hour just to be aware. This is the most expensive site we’ve stayed in and I would say it was the poorest. It didn’t have anything to warrant the high price. I do feel a couple that wanted to really switch off and relax would enjoy it with Adare and The Woodlands hotel being nearby but it’s not for families.

Thank you for visiting us and we look forward to seeing you again for peace and relaxation. The playground is small and most children seem to be happy with it. There is a large playground in adare and croom which will give hours of play for most children . Generally where possible if a customer is unhappy where they are placed we will do everything possibly to change their pitch. To say its not for families is of course your opinion , families have to make that decision themselves and many do and become repeat customers.

Stayed here for 4 days, absolutely loved it, despite arriving in the middle of a torrential rain storm.
The park is set in a lovely quiet field, with hard stands for the campers\caravans, and grass for the tents.
Lovely big shower cubicles and plenty of hot water, and clean toilets. There is a small playground for the kids which was well used. Hugh and Margaret were generally always around (Hugh on his bike) checking in with campers to ensure there were no issues. The campers kitchen is closed due to Covid, but there is an outdoor sink, fridge\freezer, microwave and mobile charging point.
Sites are a good size with lots of room for awnings. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I just had a fantastic 3 night stay.
The park is easy to get to, about 3km outside Adare. On arrival the gate was closed but within a minute we were greeted by one of the very pleasant owners. She was very helpful, point out the facility’s and helping us pick a pitch. The pitches have electric and water very close.
The toilets were spotless any time we went in. Many people complain about paying for showers and yes you have to but they were only 50c for 7 minutes of piping hot water. There is a Jacuzzi which can be booked for private use in half hour intervals and in fairness to them as no one was booked after us he told us to stay as long as we wanted. Waste disposal is convenient and clean.
The only thing I would change, was the water pressure in the showers, it was not great but usable and it wouldn’t put us off a return.
The site is easy to book and reasonable priced.
As most people talk about it, the traffic in Adare can be very bad but next time you are there, embrace it and stop for a little break. You can get all you could need with shops and great food.

This is a really laid back & relaxing place. The grounds are kept really well & the facilities are of a high standard. The showers in particular are really good. For a 50c coin you get a powerful, hot shower... With the bonus being that the cubicles are nice & spacious, making it easy to dry off & get dressed.
Nearby Adare village is an absolute gem, with some lovely shops & restaurants.
There's a really good Centra supermarket with off licence for any supplies you may want to bring back to the camp site.
The only complaint I have is, we had to move on after 2 nights... Next time, we'll definitely stay for longer.

+1
It was our first camping ever and we were delighted to stay and learn about the camping. On your arrival you gave to check in and then you would be showing your place to stay. It wasn’t crowded or tents staying very close to each other. There are all facilities that you need to stay: restrooms, showers, kitchen with all essential appliances, socket station for caravans, playground and somewhere eating tables if you are lucky. It’s safe and pleasant to stay at the fresh air, with singing birds and donkeys at the field. Highly recommended!
