Detailed Reviews
We arrived after dark in Adare and after being misdirected twice a landlady in town phoned Mattie who drove out to guide us to Castleview. That was the start of six delightful days with Mattie and Bridie .Although our room was small it was spotless and had an enormous and very comfortable bed. The shower room was also small but had the best power shower I have ever used. Castleview is on a quiet road with beautiful well maintained gardens all round. Breakfasts were very good with a wide selection to choose from, but try Bridies omelettes they are delicious.
Mattie and Bridie are the salt of the earth and a credit to The Emerald Isle.

Since we were flying back home out of Shannon last month, we decided to spend our last night in Adare. We were fortunate enough to come across the Castleview House and it's lovely hosts Mattie and Bridie. The house was comfortable with beautiful landscaping and just a short drive into the town. They were helpful in suggesting places to visit and interesting facts about the area. Breakfast was great and Mattie gave my friend and myself a little lesson on the game of hurling(in fact gave me a ball). We enjoyed hearing about their family from the pictures in the hallway. Our last night was a fitting ending to a great trip. Our thanks to our hosts, we would highly recommend the Castleview as a place to stay.

It was wonderful to see Mattie and Bridie working together to serve my family. After 2 nights stay my family felt so close to them. I felt like I was at home. They went out of their way recommending places to eat in the community, places to visit - and they even called places for us. I was truly touched with their genuine love for people. I look forward visiting Ireland again and staying with my new friends. If you want to feel right at home please stay with this beautiful couple in their house. With sincere appreciation!

Bridie and Mattie have such a lovely house. Best B&B we have stayed in in Ireland. We stayed there two nights and they graciously stayed up until 2300 when we arrived on the first night. We felt like family, they were so kind and generous. They recommended to eat at the woodland restaurant (Timmy Macs) which was delicious! They offered to do our laundry, they made a delicious breakfast. Such a lovely couple and so kind and inviting. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend this wonderful B&B to anyone traveling to Adare!!

This was a spotless and well appointed B&B with nice helpful hosts. The beds were the most comfortable in Ireland (as were the pillows). Do try the delicious home made pancakes. It is only a short drive to the pretty town of Adare and Matti willsuggest suitable restsurants. We can thoroughly recommend Castleview.

On our recent vacation to Ireland we had the pleasure of staying with Bridie and Mattie in their lovely house. They are two of the nicest people I've ever met. Bridie made us feel right at home. This is the only B&B on our trip with a sitting room for customers, which made it nice for relaxing. They have lovely gardens, the breakfast was great, the room was small, but clean and comfy. I'd recommend this B&B to anyone and everyone!

We arrived quite late due to complications with car hire and ferry. Mattie was on hand to let us in ( we did let them know we would be late) and show us our comfy room and even had a couple of Bridie's cupcakes for us! Tired as I was, I almost cried! We stayed 3 nights and and never did we feel anything we requested would be any trouble. Even had gps coordinates on our paperwork which was incredibly helpful!! Thank you

My wife and I enjoyed our one-evening stay at Castleview House. Bridie and her husband provided a comfy room and a delicious breakfast. Castleview is very near Adare and not too far from Limerick and the Dingle Peninsula. It was an ideal place to stay on our first exploration of Ireland.
