Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booked two nights away with family. Was pleasantly surprised on arrival as thought pub looked lovely. When we checked in we were told to pick our own pitch and given the gate code no other information was given. That is the only contact we had all weekend from staff!! The place was a free for all, no rules to be followed people playing music until all hours. Kids running wild until 12 at night. Toilets were never checked by staff. Some blocked and overflowing and ones on the other side had no toilet roll and a drenched floor. We could not find chemical waste and there was no one to ask. If u want a rowdy getaway this is the place for u

Ordered a 'vegan' burger as very little vegetarian or fish choice on menu...burger was like sawdust...and certainly came out of a freezer! Asked for cheese on it, and saw this was added to my bill..one euro for an easy single...gross..not even real cheese. Partner had a steak, asked for cooked medium, but it was well done. Saw another customer put a napkin over her dinner and send it straight back ! Total rip off prices for food no better than the local chipper, won't be recommending this place.

If it a peaceful couple of days glamping you like then try out this small but cosy glamping site. The pods for the accommodation are cosy and well designed but really just for sleeping in and that’s ideal because this type of break is for activities and nearby you can go canoeing and hiking or cycling along the Shannon or canals, it is very quiet here but the pub on site serves good food and is a lively old style pub which has a unique vibe to make you feel comfortable and leaves you in no rush to leave. Leitrim village is just a mile or so away and is a bit busier but if it’s peace and quiet you like, you’ll enjoy it all here!

Stayed here for 2 nights this weekend. The glamping units were cosy and comfortable. The pub had a great atmosphere and the liver music was brilliant.helpful staff and beautiful surroundings.also close to Leitrim village for groceries and plenty of restaurants in Carrick on Shannon which is nearby. Would recommend it to a friend.

Great weekend camping shower and toilet facilities were spotless, didn't enjoy the onsite pub I just felt that the staff were not very welcoming or helpful, we went up to a pub in the village called The Barge where we had amazing food( the salmon was to die for) lovely atmosphere and friendly staff

Booked a girly weekend away for my friends.Had been here previously in my own caravan but decided to book the "glamping"experience with my girlfriend's for a fun weekend away. From day 1 i specifically asked was it glamping in tents an was assured at all times it was.so i happy booked it for 2 nights costing 200€.we arrived on the friday evening all excited met by a very rude man who was to busy to attend to us and ordered a member of staff to show us where to go.she was very nice polite an helpful.until we were brought to what i can only describe as a dark dirty shed.We were give a plastic bag with 2 logs to peices of turf and a fire lighter. To our horror there was no cooking facilities only a dirty bbq unwashed an had to pay 5euro to use it.We tried lighting the fire which ended up smoking us out if it because birds had nested in it the fumes we unreal and we had no windows tat could open.We asked for help an were told we'd be ok an given an electric heater.Which made no different because the door would not close and the heat judt went out it.It took to blankets to fill the hole to try and keep ourselves warm.Im myself am disabled there is absolutely no disabled facilities on these premises so i could not use showers or toilets and toilets were unisex which in tis day and age is a disgrace. We went to the local filling station and the lady made us up some hot food as we wernt given tis man any more of our money.Even if we had brought our own food we would have had no way to eat or drink in our "shed"because there was 2 spoons 1 cup 3 plastic glasses 2 broken and a kettle. The curtains in the shed are made from cut up shower curtains the mattresses were unbearable to sleep on.I will never again go to tis place and give that horrible man my money. He was only nice to us when we were leaving.Dont be fooled by the pictures there is no glamping at this site what so ever. But theres lots of sheds only fit for animals.😠

First of all try to book by email or phone is very hard work, maybe that should have warned us, the package we were given over the phone we did not get, the pods are cute, the managment is awful, a member of bar staff shouted at one of our girls sit down out of my way,(she is a pioneer) he also told another girl to stop laughing. Another family was given food off our private bbq we were expected to pay for them, which lead to us near going with the garda. The Garda were very nice. The area Leitrim / carrick on shannon is a beautiful scenic area, wonderful pint guinness in leitrim village. carrick on shannon is a very up beat beautiful town great to visit
