We stayed for one night it was very adverage we were suprised it was a 4 star hotel as the bedrooms had no air conditioning or fan the bed was very poor very old beds and not comfortable there was also a funny oldish smell in the room. We did mention this to the hotel to be told they are planning on upgrading some beds but delivery was the issue!! Not good enough. There was two guests checking out ahead of us and they also aired their complaints similar issues. Very expensive for what you get very disappointing. On the plus side the location is great and the staff were friendly.

This hotel is really well located - it's an easy walk to the town centre and also to a nearby shopping centre (1km approx). The River Shannon is just across the road, and there's a lovely riverside walk. It also does amazing ice-cream sundaes! I had a big room, but not the most comfortable bed, and I was above the extractor fan so quite a bit of noise. It also had no sockets beside the bed, which is a bug-bear of mine - I like to be able to charge my mobile but also keep it near me. I had to request a kettle for tea/coffee. Breakfast was basic. I had dinner on one night, and again, it was quite basic. While I know this is probably a Covid-19 effect, I felt that my stay here was very expensive for what I got - if it had been more reasonably priced, I'd probably have felt it was better value.

The Landmark created a great experience for our wedding. We got married in COVID times and things were very unpredictable. On the day, the landmark pulled out all the stops to ensure that restrictions didn’t get in the way of our big day. The staff effortlessly implemented the COVID standards and sanitiser was freely available. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and very understanding to all our guests, which included small children. The venue itself is excellent with views of the Shannon which lends itself to fabulous photographs and the private room for the wedding party was a great place to recoup and catch up with each other after all the photos. Having our wedding in the landmark, as locals from Carrick, was something that was very important to us and the treatment on the day cemented our decision as it truly was a day to remember and one we will never forget.

Slow service. Uncomfortable seating. Coffee served in paper cups, French fries served instead of chips. Very disappointing for 4* hotel, when many cafes and restaurants have made such an effort to provide quality service to customers.

Stayed at the Landmark Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located along the river Shannon and we were blessed with great weather and stunning views. Staff we so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us and we’re so well trained in relation to Covid the entire stay we felt so at ease. We had a quick lunch in the new Aromas cafe and absolutely amazed by the quality of all the food ranging from fresh salads and sandwiches and the most wonderful selection of desserts. We treated ourselves to some ice cream sundaes that were to die for. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable offered us such a good nights sleep. Hotel had a great atmosphere and Carrick on Shannon is a wonderful spot with so much to do. Will definitely be back again!
