Customer Service of Tony and his staff: 5 stars
Restaurant: 5 stars
Hotel Accomadations: 2 stars
Tony is an amazing host with a big personality and treats his guests like he's known them for years & you are the best of friends! His staff are gracious & helpful. Shout out to Roman & Mary!
The restaurant has a great menu and a nice decor and Atmosphere. The seafood chowder was out of this world! Mary made our breakfast cooked to order. It was delicious and she was a delight to talk to.
I am sorry to say, that once you go upstairs to your room, it is a different story. The lighting is dark (even after a changed light bulb), the beds old and uncomfortable and basic amenities are not provided. There is no shelf in the shower to place your soap & shampoo. There is no tissue box in the rooms, especially important in today's climate. When we advised Tony the lighted vanity mirror was out, he said new vanity lights were ordered, but they were 8 weeks delayed. Yet I read reviews from 2 years ago of clients complaining of the same thing. Get different lights then! Many reviews complained of no coffee in the rooms, which is true, but I really see no room for them. Have self-service coffee in the lobby for early risers until breakfast! Address these simple small changes and you will be on the way the the boutique hotel you claim to be.

Top quality hotel. Excellent food and service relative to the cost. The rooms are more than adequate size and the breakfast is superb. If you are seeking reasonable priced accommodation in a central location with parking, this is a great option.

Had a reasonable meal here but was disappointed with the side of french fries which were of the frozen variety. The meal was not cheap for what we had and I asked on paying the bill if I could speak to the lady who was checking with diners all evening if everything was okay.

The waiter said that she was the owners wife and he would tell her. She appeared a short time later and stopped with a couple who were dining a couple of tables away and had a conversation with them. She clearly knew this couple judging by their interactions.

She then came over to me and I informed her that we had a good evening but were disappointed that the french fries were not fresh cut. I diplomatically suggested that it might be a nice idea to have ‘real’ chips as the menu was not inexpensive and customers would probably appreciate that.

She laughed and said they’d been doing it like that for 25 years but she would ‘let them know’. She said this quite arrogantly and I have to say it rubbed me totally the wrong way. She then went back to the couple she’d been having the conversation with.

I went to the loo and when I came out the lady was not there but the couple she was talking with were staring at me. As I was walking out of the restaurant they were still staring and I asked the gentleman if she’d told them all about me and he nodded in the affirmative. I suppose I shouldn’t have done this as it was a bit confrontational, but I knew she’d been talking with them about my remarks which was highly unprofessional.

This establishment will no doubt survive regardless of any negative feedback I provide but I feel it’s important that people give honest, truthful accounts of their experiences.

We dined here in September with friends . We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table where they told us the specials of the day , the menu was varied and gave plenty of choice to our group. We had 6 different meals and every meal was fantastic, the host who’s name was Antony checked in a few time to see if everything was ok , which it was.we then had deserts followed by drinks and left the restaurant having had a lovely evening and will definitely return the premises were spotless as were the bathrooms, well done👍

The most friendly service you could imagine. The food was to die for and the atmosphere was perfect, not too loud yet still had a god buzz. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to Kinsale, well worth a visit for a meal or even just a drink.

The staff are all so friendly. Anthony went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and entertained us with great chat. The food was excellent with a great variety of options. Roman organised early breakfast for us on one of our mornings as a fishing trip was booked to head out early. I couldn't fault our stay. Thank you so much Anthony, Roman and all the staff for making it such a memorable stay. We will definitely be back.

Adventuring through Ireland over a two week period... found the White Lady day of and booked last minute.. would highly recommend!! Staff was more than accommodating , professional, welcoming. Rooms are extremely clean, and perfect for a couples trip. The dinner is some of the best food we’ve had. The bar is a fun environment with a great selection. I would HIGHLY recommend the White Lady. Paul and his staff will make a memorable experience that you will want to recommend to all your traveling friends. Thanks for a great experience!

Always coming over to see were we OK for eveything and with that had such a charming and witty nature about him.. I would most definitely go here again. The food was amazing.

Stayed for one night. Toilets in Foyer were not clean. The bedroom was small. The shower area especially around the doors had not been cleaned in a long time. Not great value for the price. Breakfast in the morning was quick and very tasty.

It does not have an elevator from what I am aware. But there are only about 10 steps on stairs.
