From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Margo and Donie are excellent hosts. The rooms are beautifully appointed and if you happen to have a room that looks over the back of the house you have a beautiful view of the Bandon River as well as part of the town. Even the front rooms have a peaceful view of the front garden as well as the fields beyond. Breakfast was plentiful and we had a great time listening to Donie and his hilarious stories as well as swapping tips and adventures with the other guests. The property is close to town and we found it enjoyable to walk, especially after eating at the wonderful Kinsale restaurants. Our only disappointment was that we could not stay longer, however, we look forward to returning soon!

Booked this B&B for the view, but the hosts were the highlight. Only had time to spend one night in Kinsale, and the room and view WERE spectacular in every way - but the advice on what to do/where to go was priceless. Based on Donnie's recommendations, we changed our whole agenda for the next day, skipped Blarney and Cashel and instead spent the day in Kinsale and Cobh - went to the Fort which was fascinating and at his direction, drove the road with "the most expensive property prices in Ireland" for the view - well deserved- just gorgeous, visited Cobh and the departure site for our grandmother's immigration to America. We would definitely stay here again (and for longer) if we are blessed to be able to return to Ireland. Would loved to have spent more time with the hosts.

We loved Margo and Donnie's welcome - the only place we stayed in Ireland where the host offered to carry our bags to our room. Our room was upstairs at the front of the property and while the view wasn't great we weren't there to stare out our window. The room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, which is what really matters. This BandB is in a quiet residential area, about a 15 minute walk (at most) to downtown Kinsale. Breakfast was lovely and our hosts were happy to provide directions and recommendations on sights we should not miss, including some other stops that we may have missed otherwise (e.g. Drombeg Stone Circle). All in all a great stay.

We spent 2 wonderful days staying at Landfall House in September while we explored Kinsale. It a beautiful home and we had a lovely room with a view over Kinsale. Donny and Margo are delightful hosts who were able to help us out with itinerary suggestions.

The landfall location was nice in the fact that it is only 4 minutes from downtown Kinsale. The place was very clean. But it is the hosts Margo and Donnie that make the stay so wonderful. They treat you like family.
