This is a fantastic B&B located within easy walking distance to the center of Kinsale. The building itself looks very nice on the inside and out. It is very clean and seems to have been recently renovated as it all has a very "new" feel to it. Maeve, the property owner, was extremely nice and accommodating. She bent over backwards...

Maeve was a fabulous host! She always had suggestions for us. She let us know about the special weekend activities that were happening in town. The breakfast was wonderful, and the service was excellent. She was just finishing getting fiber optic installed for the wifi! The rooms were clean and spacious.

Large rooms with many amenities this beautiful property offers a quite alternative from staying in town which is a short walk away. Parking on the property. Our hostess Maeve ensured that we wanted for nothing.

My father and I stayed for 3 nights at the Blindgate House after 2 weeks road tripping around Ireland - - and we have to say that this was our favourite B&B of our trip. The B&B is very clean, modern, spacious and aesthetically tasteful. Breakfast is a treat, offering a variety of options. And the owner, Maeve, was most...

Wonderful two days in Kinsale. The accommodations were comfortable and very clean. Breakfast each day was hot and very tasty. The staff was pleasant and made recommendations for dinner each night that were spot on. In all, a great place!!

We arrived in Kinsale and were a little freaked out trying to drive the narrow streets in town so headed up hill and luckily discovered this place. I was just reading about it in Rick Steves. Fortunately they had a reservation. Nice rooms, very clean, nice breakfast. There is a shortcut down the hill to town, so it is a...

My husband and I spend 2 night at the Blindgate House in September. The entire experience was perfect. Maeve, the owner and operator, makes staying at the Blindgate a personal and relaxing visit. The rooms are perfectly appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and served in a bright and airy dining room. Each morning there are incredible cold and...

We had a very nice room that had a roomy en suite . A nice parlor with fireplace that was lit and a decor surrounded by candles. Our hostess was very helpful with suggestions for guided tours as well as walking on our own and fantastic places to eat.
