Everything you need in a b&b: great location, clean rooms, and friendly and accomodating proprietor in Mary, who also manages the pub down the street. Good, hearty breakfast. No frills, but had its own memorable charm.

We just came home today from our Irish journey with our best friends. We all loved Mary and Sea Gull House! It is cozy and quaint and Mary was so friendly and welcoming and made us all feel like family. Breakfast was wonderful and there was plenty of it! The rooms are clean, the beds very comfortable and we had...

Mary is a fine host and the accommodations were comfortable and clean, breakfast hearty and filling. The Sea Gull House is a quaint older home, well situated just steps from restaurants, pubs and the main street with shops. There is no on site parking but we had no problem finding parking just around the corner on a side street. There...

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sea Gull House. Located in the center of the quaint town of Kinsale, the proprietor, Mary O'Neil offers a hearty breakfast before you venture out on your sightseeing adventure.

Stayed in September 2016 - not maintained at all - light bulbs out - thin, ripped bath towels - no soap - basic low level accommodation, not three stars as told. Mary (inn keeper) also owns the pub at bottom of hill. She is more interested in the pub than her B&B. Everyone seems to "love" Mary but I think...

Large full Irish breakfast made by Mary who also runs the Tap Tavern down the road. Perched on a hill, you need to find parking on the road but we had no problem. This place is quite old but as it is historic it was just fine. Rooms not real large but we felt it was a good value and...

I recognize this B & B is not for everyone, but for those wanting a vintage Irish experience, it is a quiet, comfortable place to stay. Mary O'Neal is the proprietress and as an earlier review states she is like your Irish Granny. The house sits right next door to Desmond Castle. I could stick my hand out the window...

Mary is the perfect host ,a warm welcome awaits you . The rooms are very clean , beds really comfortable , breakfast excellent , scrambled egg plentiful ! It is located two minutes from town . We parked just around the corner on the street , no problem . We went with two teenage daughters , and all had a...

Mary was a lovely host, plenty of chat. Facilities were a bit dated, and reminds me of staying in a typical irish grandmothers house, which is no bad thing! No wifi, and basic breakfast, but can't complain. A nice place to lay your head for the evening. Close to bars, restaurants and the ocean front.

This B & B is very convenient to town; is clean; no parking. There is no wifi, although readily available in many places in town. Do not expect the traditional B & B breakfast - no cereal, no yogurt, no brown bread - scrambled eggs, toast, sausage, rashers, tomato half. Next time would look elsewhere.
