we are regulars at Jim Edwards and have always got excellent food at a very reasonable price. Their is a good choice of fish with the monk fish being a big favourite of ours. Their Hake on the set menu is very nice too and a nice friendly staff

Paid 90 euros for a Friday. Room above restaurant. The room was clean, bed comfortable and a good shower. The breakfast was tasty. Best of all th location is only within walking distance of pubs and restaurants. Tourist board suggested this place. One of few places under 100 euros in town. Only pain was parking, town parking free after 6,... More

Good central location but the rooms were quite small and in need of up dating, door was difficult to lock and on one occasion when we returned the room hadn't been locked by the cleaner. Breakfast was ok but often slow to arrive with no choice of brown toast and no sauces readily available. Staff were very friendly and offered... More

The food wasn't great but the staff were friendly. The food was a little slow to come out. The location is very central to the town of Kinsale. There is a good buzz around the pub. Would recommend to drink in, go elsewhere for food!

Parking is not to far away..if your lucky you might find a space on the street outside. The food is amazing. Very tasty and... More

My mother and I travelled to Ireland for the first time in June 2016. I had booked with another accommodation weeks in advance only to have this fall through days before we were to arrive. I was referred to Jim Edwards and thankfully he had a twin, en suite room available. My mother and I were very pleased with the... More

12 of stayed at Jim Edwards for a long weekend in April, the welcome was warm and despite arriving at 11.30 am all our rooms were ready for us. The rooms were of a good size and they were spotless! The bed was comfy and we had a great night sleep. The breakfast was really good, with a good selection... More
