Lovely rooms, king size bed, 4 star standards. The welcome was friendly, warm and efficient. The room comfortable, very clean and the bed comfortable. Highly recommend starting here. The restaurant is good too! Thank you for a great stay

Lovely trip to Ireland yet again. This time to the south coast. Visited Kinsale and may I say accommodated well on a very busy St Patricks evening. "no room at the inn " anywhere except .....The White House. (which we had our eye on anyway) but fully booked. We managed to have supper 15 min before the kitchen closed with...

Travelled down from Dublin on the 18th to check out Kinsale...detour via new Ross and their St Patrick's Day parade...so arrived after 9pm and no vacancies. Ordered some food and thought would end up sleeping in car but a great team at the hotel let us know of a late cancellation ...so stayed over and enjoyed the craic. Will be...

Had a lovely boozy afternoon here, getting in some practice in readiness for St Patrick's day. Great atmosphere in the bar, where copious drinks were imbibed by our party. Pretty much a central destination in town and good meeting point.

Hi all, We were down over the weekend and we started with a bevvie in The White House. To be honest, we should have come straight back here after our meal! Lesson learned. The staff, and specifically Rose, are incredibly helpful and sweet. We had traveled from the US to Ireland and had many issues along the way including two canceled flights resulting in a ten hour layover in LHR then a flight to SNN instead of ORK. By the time we got to Kinsale we were wrecked, only to find that the...

The Whitehouse Kinsal is a delightful B&B in a colorful town, centrally located with confident parking in the back. We did have a fair amount of rain but it did not slow us down. The town itself is a big sailing hub.

We stopped here because we wanted to sample the local fish. Oysters were a good starter but the mussels were spoiled by the sauce which contained far too much thyme or other herb. There were herb plants in the covered garden room (smokers allowed) and it felt as if the profilic thyme was being hurled into every dish. After reading...
