Just back from a weekend stay in Acton's. Right in the heart of Kinsale. Beautiful hotel. Great food. Very comfortable and very clean rooms. The staff are outstanding, especially the waiting staff in Sidney's bar. Every effort is made to make you feel welcome and safe. No negative experiences at all. Well done guys. We will be back.

I mistakenly booked my elderly parents in for a week later than planned, discovered by my Mum the night before they were leaving. Diane could not have been more helpful in changing the booking. What a lovely experience with something that made me feel a bit sick, seeing as it was my parents' 1st trip after lockdown. Thank you Diane!

Another hotel on my bucket list that I got to stay in and yes it was FAB. I have stayed in it's sister hotel the Trident which was nice but this is beautiful, stunning views spotless clean, lovely staff in hotel and leisure centre. Beautiful breakfast. My husband loved the food in the bar because he is all about the fish and he loved it I personally was not a huge fan of my dinner, but I have to say the supervisor on duty went out of her way to rectify it which in my opinion gives it 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back you could sit in your so comfy room and just look at the wonderful views . Definitely get a harbor view room and enjoy

We stayed here for 3 nights . Kinsale is a lovely quaint village overlooking the harbour . Actons is the perfect location for shops and restaurants. The room we stayed in was large and airy with a big ensuite . Every precaution was taken with covid regulations . Cups and glasses were replaced daily . Breakfast was very good and offered a wide choice . We ate in the garden restuarant two of the nights and food was good . I would recommend the hake and salmon . Unfortunately the restuarants in Kinsale can only have a limited number of customers as it is outdoor dining only so it involved queuing . We had a beautiful meal on the fist night in Jim Edwards but were happy to dine in the remaining nights The staff in Actons were very friendly and efficient. We were particularly impressed with the young waiters and waitresses who were very pleasant and courteous. They were obviously very well trained . It was worth the long journey down from the North to stay in this lovely hotel in a picturesque village .

Stayed in Actins for two nights and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was a delight. Beautiful big rooms with large en-suite. I love a room with high ceilings and a centre light. A fantastic variety for breakfast and all food was lovely and fresh. Also had dinner in restaurant, I got fish cakes and the hake for my mains .. beautifully done and very very tasty sauce. Staff are just lovely and the place was spotless. Hope to be back again.
