We had the most fantastic stay in Perryville House for my boyfriend’s birthday, it is the perfect place to explore Kinsale - you’re in the centre of everything, and very close to the bus that can take you to Cork for the day. The staff were just so lovely and welcoming, and gave us some helpful tips for the local area - they really made all the difference. The breakfast was also a highlight of our trip. We absolutely cannot wait to come back!

It's not often that you check into a hotel and after you return from dinner you encounter such a nice person. I did not catch his name but he was Polish and super nice. We aske for water and he brought us two bottles which I was very nice and we chatted with him for a bit! The breakfast was great, very nice menu with plenty of options. I really liked the room and it was very spacious.

A small private hotel with an attentive staff makes this the perfect place to stay in kinsale. We had stayed there 15 years ago, but since then the owner has invested deeply into the kind of furnishings, art and comforts that have elevated this place to its luxury status. The breakfast was perfectly prepared in the best breakfast room we’d seen. Fresh flowers and outdoor gardens contribute to the feeling of hospitality that comes across from the Perryville and it’s staff.

This place is the best! Very convenient to everything in Kinsale. Room #53 is large with updated large bathroom with separate tub and large shower, plenty of hot water, good water pressure, in room Nespresso machine, plenty of power outlets, comfortable bed. TV should be updated to match the room quality. Staff are beautiful and the most friendly and helpful for all questions related to the stay. Private and public parking available and not a problem. Probably the best gourmet breakfasts I’ve ever had. There is a bar onsite with limited selections but very nice. I visited for two nights and it was not enough. Certain this is the highlight of our Ireland vacation and highly recommended.

The best everything ! We loved our beautiful, roomy suite and the hospitality was perfect. The breakfast was gourmet delight. The hotel is steps away from the beautiful little town of friendly, helpful people. We took a long walk from the inn to the Charles Fork. So interesting. Then a walking food tour with our guide who seemed to know everyone in town. Do go to the chocolate shop and talk with the owner proprietor. You’ll love this town and the Perryville House.

A charming house right in the heart of Kinsale. The rooms were spotless along with the communal areas of the house. The breakfast was one of the nicest I have had. The bar area was comfortable with big couches to relax in at the end of the day. The staff were so nice and could not have been more helpful. The location is amazing and I would definitely recommend a stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay lovely boutique hotel at the Perryville House in Kinsale. Our charming large room was in a new section and had all new upgrades and was the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed with a soaking tub and shower. The staff overall was very friendly and helpful in recommending places to visit in the area. Joseph was very helpful when we arrived and helped us up the stairs with our suitcases. The 2 gentleman on the front door Christian and Marian were also very helpful throughout our stay. And the bartender, Francis was awesome and fun to chat with. She made great recommendations for dinner – Fishy Fishy and Finn’s Farm Cut were both tremendous recommendations. Also, the Eggs Benedict breakfast was the best I have ever had. We briefly met both Laura and Andrew. The location was perfect and close to many restaurants and pubs. The Scilly walk was charming, and we continued to walk to Fort Hard which also great. I highly recommend staying here.

We came to Kinsale to visit our friend and wonted to invite her for breakfast. The owner met our guest and refused to let her in. When we said that it was strange to not let the guest in for breakfast, she said it was her house and she had her rules! The story is not about stuff, which was amazing, but about “friendly “owner of the hotel!

Response from Perryville House, Owner at Perryville House
Responded 1 Nov 2022
Dear Ninog273, I refer to your comments on this platform. Every story has two sides and I am grateful for the opportunity to respond and defend my business model. Perryville House is a private guesthouse. From the moment you buzz the bell on the door to enter you realize you are in an oasis of secure calm. It is strictly for the enjoyment and pleasure of our guests. They can comfortably relax knowing that there are no random strangers walking about or people wandering in from the busy town outside. We are not a public hotel and as such, our famous breakfast is purely for the enjoyment of our overnight guests. I explained this in a polite and calm manner which was met with objection. The raised voice and offensive tone, whilst been told how to run my business is not welcome. Naturally, I will not be shouted at in my own house so I reluctantly walked away from our conversation as I felt your aggression threatened my safety. We sincerely hope you found accommodations which met your expectations on the rest of your trip.
