This is a belated review reflecting our stay during October, 2014. We found out about "Jo's Rooms" in the 2014 edition of "Rick Steve's Ireland." Since this was our first visit to Ireland we thought it wise to make our reservations before we left home. Unfortunately, due to a disgruntled air traffic controller trying to burn down the control tower,...

Great ensuite room on the upper floor "with a view". Very clean and manageable place centrally located on Main Street. Great breakfast available in the attached cafe with amazing coffee. Don't miss out on this place.!!

I love this little cafe. A perfect spot for breakfast or lunch, and delicious home baking, really good coffee and the loveliest staff, don't miss it! A favourite of locals and a real gem. Try the lemon buns they are so good!

The hot chocolate here is the best hot chocolate I've ever had! They have different flavors, like white, dark, milk, and praline, and I'm sure all would be delicious but I had the mixed white and milk hot chocolate, and it was very sweet, but not overpowering! It's a cute cafe and they don't use chocolate out of a packet...

Stopped here while in Kinsale for a quick drink and snack. They have plenty of options of hot coffee and teas plus tons of freshly baked pastries. I got a chai tea and a banana walnut scone. Both were delicious, especially the scone! It was so fresh and tasty. Perfect spot for a snack or a treat!

We popped in to Kinsale on a whim. Wandered around and found Jo's. I was desperate for a good coffee and found it! I noticed a lot of the "chocolate" flavoring being added to cafe mocha's during our trip - but here they melted real chocolate. The pastries looked divine. My husband had to drag me out of town to...

Really nice place! Fresh food, smoothies, great salads, wraps, coffee in a very tiny and well designed cafe. We were served friendly and fast and would definitive recommend all visitors in kinsale to drop in at Jo's. Try the Popeye blueberry smoothie! Really great

Jo's Cafe is the place to get great cake and traybake goodies in Kinsale. The coffee and hot chocolate are also pretty good and there is a large selection of special Tea to choose from. Sit in or take away, you'll be sure to find a treat to satisfy that sweet tooth. Sandwiches, soup and a nice looking breakfast menu...

IN 3 weeks this was the best place we stayed. Not too pricey, jo was a wonderful host. If you want a real irish experience in a town that is not that touristy, this is the place. I would rather go here than Dublin or Cork anyway.

A small, basic room at amazing value, with everything you need to rest your head. It is clean with a very comfortable ensuite room right in the heart of Kinsale. The hot chocolate downstairs in the cafe has to be tried to be believed. Highly recommend.
