I do not usually leave bad reviews. I know not everything is perfect. When something is wrong depending on what it is I will let the owner know and hope for good customer service. After waiting a week after contact and the owners not responding to me shows they do not care. Unfortunate…. So I will let others know. We were not told ahead of time when we booked our trip that construction will be going on under/ next to apartment 9 to 5pm however they started earlier then that. No sleeping in for us after a night out. Picked an apartment for some quite time in cute small town. Not given a chance to make other arrangements ….for the price….not worth staying there. Disappointed.

Not all information is given about apartment when booked. Construction going on in entrance to building. The noise ! Customer service about this is not good either, tried to let them make good on our inconvenience cause we know how things can be, we are fare people and want to help businesses. However lack of communication shows they do not care. Location is nice, place was clean Inside apartment but wouldn’t stay again or recommend .

Picked this apartment thinking is would be nice and quite for end of beautiful vacation. Sad we ended here. Found out Night before about construction going on near room. Well under and next to, woke us up earlier then any of us wanted to. Lasted all day. Saturday too. The owner doesn't reply to my emails about this. For the price we should have been told about construction well before trip. Good location but needs some work. Beds were comfy when we got to get a few hours sleep. Wouldn't stay here again after this/and owners

First off, we rented Apartment Nr. 3 for two nights; it was clean, all necessary supplies (towels, etc.) were provided, and the beds were comfortable. That being said, the cold water in the bathroom sink barely flowed due to a kink in the supply hose. After downloading the instructions for the washer/dryer, and after 15 attempts, could still not get the machine to function. As one other reviewer mentioned (and I missed this), you cannot receive any regular television programs; only subscription services such as Netflix. I turned on the electric kettle, but the water never boiled; it only got warm. A number of the light bulbs were burned out. In Varun's (the manager) defense, he was responsive and promised to get the cold water fixed in the bathroom. However, I would suggest that the appliances should be checked to make sure they function properly and the lights checked more frequently for burned out lightbulbs. As for the washer/dryer, I would suggest that they provide a laminated step-by-step operation guide, since it is not an obvious user interface. Also, as with many properties in Ireland that don't have air conditioning, you have to keep the windows open at night to stay cool; we were kept up by people talking on the street since we had a street-facing apartment, so noise-cancelling earbuds would be recommended if you face the street. The location was excellent, close to the center of the town. I think with a few tweaks, flat #3 would be top class.…

We stayed at The Post House in July 2022, We stayed in a one bedroom apartment No2 , It was lovely, decorated modern and clean, we had my mam with us ,so they put an extra bed at the back of the sitting room. Everything there you would need in the kitchen if you wanted to cook, we didn't cook there.. There was complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, t-towel, cleaning supplies ,wash up liquid!!! .. As the accommodation is self catering, normally this would not be supplied, a great gesture and appreciated. Varun the manager was very helpful and hands on if you needed anything, nothing was too much trouble. Location is right in the centre of the town, but yet quiet. I read in another review that there is noise from fans outside, yes there is at times, it didn't bother us as we always have wax ear plugs with us just in case.. Don't be put off by the building next doors exterior as it's a vacant building and the door of the post house looks like it's part of it.. once in you are in a little courtyard , and the apartment is spot on . Thank you varun for a lovely stay.…

Stayed in the deluxe apartment (#3) for a few nights. Right on the Main Street with 2 large bedrooms, a modern bathroom with rain shower and a relaxing kitchen/living area. Everything provided for a COVID safe and relaxing stay. Quality TV with internet TV only with apps, so a Netflix or similar account is needed. Good takeout food very close by and a very large Spar just 10mins walk away. Great base to explore Kinsale. Would recommend the flat white coffees in the flying poet cafe for any coffee lovers. Varun - our host made the check in and stay effortless with key safe collection of keys and clear email instructions on day of arrival with door codes etc

The ground floor apartment is like a dungeon , advertised as having a single bed also but which it didn’t so they provided a camp bed ! Had to ask numerous times for towels to be changed & were filthy when they were. Toilet seat broken & when reported I got a very surprised reaction (I’m sure someone had reported this before) Musty smell & horrific views , surrounding properties so pretty , was an amazing location which is great as you will want to spend a lot of time out of the accommodation !! Bed was comfy tho

We enjoyed a lovely stay here. We had a two bedroomed apartment which was small but beautifully furnished, a mix of old world charm with contemporary amenities. The location was great, very central, but a relatively quiet location.

The apartment was very nice but the entry yard downstairs leaved a lot to be desired. They only have two wheelies which are constantly overflowing and smelly .They could invest in two more bins at least considering Covid etc. The yard is full of flies especially inside front door because of bins and The Pidgeon problem. The property next door is derilict and the Pidgeons live there which i have no problem with. However they poo all over the yard. The residents walk on the poo and its all over the stairs carpet and into the apartments.Considering the rent is up to 280 per night they should put up a green net covering the yard and the problem would be solved.Just friendly advice!

We arrived about 4.30pm, locating The Post House in the heart of town, where we had two-bedroom apartment 3, accessed via using a code sent to our phone, which allowed us access from the street into a small courtyard, which gave access to the interior of the building and to the apartment. But first we had to work out how to park the car near the blue door on the narrow road, so we could unload. Having completed this, initially we parked down near the harbour, paying for two hours (transferable), while we walked to check out the accommodation. We discovered an area close by, an otherwise vacant lot, where lots of cars were parked, apparently free and without time restriction (information gleaned by questioning the owners of a couple of the cars), and so around 6pm, when some of the vehicles had gone, we moved our car in, hopefully for the duration of our two-night stay. It was when we went to have a shower, prior to leaving for a drink and then dinner, that we discovered that the owner of the apartment had forgotten to turn on the hot water, and so at that stage there was none. A phone call to her soon rectified the matter. The apartment was quite adequate for us. It offered many facilities which we did not use, such as a kitchen. It was very secure and, although our apartment overlooked the street, there was no problem with outside noise.…
