Travellers' Choice
The Giles Norman Gallery & Townhouse, based in a stunning Georgian building, offers guests a modern touch of class and comfort right in the heart of Kinsale. Each individual en-suite room has been curated by Giles himself, exhibiting pieces from his many portfolios - the vision was to build an interior aesthetic that reflects both Giles’s artistry and photographic style. This Georgian building, which overlooks the beautiful Kinsale pier, is also home to the giles norman photography gallery.

We stayed in the townhouse for a lovely weekend in Kinsale! Catherine & Giles were wonderful hosts and provided dinner recommendations and walks! Would recommend walking to Charles Fort! We stayed in the Ireland room, it is just stunning! From the towels, to the robes, to the pillows everything is just pure luxury! I couldn’t fault the place ❤️ I will definitely be back for another visit next year! Would highly recommend a stay in the townhouse. Giles Norman Gallery is just next door and they have gorgeous black and white photographs from across Ireland 🇮🇪

We stayed in Atlantic Room in this beautiful townhouse. The house is stunning and rooms beautifully decorated to a very high standard. We loved the photography throughout the house and the personal touches awaiting our arrival. The location was ideal to shops and restaurants and parking across the street. Staff were very welcoming we look forward to our next visit.

Stayed in the penthouse. "Wow" factor when you open the door! Smells divine (top quality diffusers used), spotless & lovely welcoming touches like handmade fudge, a blank Giles Norman greeting card & handcrafted organic lavender bath salts. Bath robes are also provided but no slippers. Bring your own bottles of water as there's none provided but there is a little coffee machine. Be prepared for the stairs..they'll keep you fit! We met Giles & Catherine in the gallery. Lovely warm, welcoming couple who booked dinner next door for us in Max's that evening (also recommend). If you're guest in the townhouse you are offered 10% off purchases in the gallery....we made the most of this offer purchasing 3 between us. All in all perfect location!

Great rooms (probably the best in town), stylish , clean, comfortable - in our case also large - and a perfect location to enjoy the town. Not a B&B (no breakfast and no parking on site) but no issue - plenty of choice and availability very close by. If you have mobility issues there can be a lot of stairs so just check with them first.
