We liked the location of the Duvane House, a short drive to downtown. We were greeted by friendly ,mooing cows at first and then by the very friendly owner, Noreen. She was just adorable and doted on us like we were family. She will make you any breakfast you like and will give you tons of recommendations on where to go and what to visit in the area. The gardens were beautiful even though we were there in October. The decoration is a mix of antique and simply dated. We had a lovely stay at the Duvan House.
My wife and I stayed at Duvane house on the outskirts of Clonakilty. Noreen and her husband Rensie take great care in looking after you. The house itself is so homely, and is a house full of history. The cooked breakfast is one I highly recommend, and Noreen's knowledge of the area is second to none. The location is only just a 2 min drive from Clonakilty, and is ideally situated for touring the beach at Inchedoney and west cork in general.
Lovely welcome from Noreen. Very helpful about where to go etc. Breakfast was good. Good sized room at the front,so nice view. Our room was the one that is the picture on here. Clean and tidy. Good sized room.
We stayed here for 2nights, after our booked accommodation tried to double the price. Noreen is a fabulous hostess, gave us lots of info about the area, very friendly and breakfast was lovely. The room was huge, spotlessly clean, with an ensuite bathroom
Duvane House was a warm and welcoming place to spend a couple of nights whilst exploring the Wild Atlantic Way. We had easy access to Inchydoney Island and West Cork Coastline. Noreen was a font of information and very agreeable and friendly. The room was spacious and the bed comfy.
