We stayed here recently and were very disappointed. The woman of the house was curt, impatient and made us feel like a bit of an inconvenience. It seemed to us that she couldn't wait to get payment and get us out the door. I'm afraid to say I would never go back there.

We stayed in Tudor Lodge this week and had a lovely stay until I was taken ill and had to leave early. Teresa was very understanding and waived the fee for the night we didn't stay. The house is lovely and Teresa was the perfect hostess.

Worse place I've stayed at I asked landlady to put on the heating as the weather was very bad and cold... She tells me no as the B&Bs do not put heating on at that time of year... Also the breakfast food was off as was the landlady I could go on and on. Warning !! Do not enter these... More

Turned up to stay 1 night but ended up staying 3 nights based on the wonderful welcome we recieved from the owners and the information they gave us on what to do in locality. Did alot of day trips and great hot breakfast every morning really set us up for the day. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here but... More

I stayed in this lovely B&B in Clonakilty whilst doing some work in the area. The rooms were clean and tidy and the en-suite was excellent, as was the shower. Night time was quiet and undisturbed which is what you need when you have to get up early. Breakfast was served downstairs in a cute dining room and Teresa, the... More

We enjoyed the comfy room, walk down the hill to restaurants and shops, and from our bedroom window we could look down hill and glimpse the ocean. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed our conversations with Theresa. We stayed two nights and would definitely go back for some wonderful Irish hospitality.

Arrived late to Clonakilty after realizing we wouldn't make it all the way to Kinsale before dark. Had no reservations & just drove around town when we spotted the shamrock on this "Luxury B&B" sign & pulled in. Theresa happened to have one room left for the night so we stayed. The room was clean & quiet, missing only a... More

Stayed 2 nights and was really unimpressed. There is no wifi. The TVs in the rooms are made so that they can't be turned up to a volume where you can even hear anything. The bathroom door in our room didn't even stay closed, but had to be blocked closed with a heavy object. You have to request a glass... More

The Tudor Lodge is a lovely home within walking distance of downtown. The seawalk is beautiful. Our room was well appointed, with a good sized bathroom and shower. The view from our upstairs window was of lovely flowers in the backyard. The sunroom is comfortable and inviting. Breakfast is served at the time you request and is Continental or full... More
