We have stayed at Dunmore House Hotel several times, so we know what quality and service to expect. This visit we were not disappointed! The hotel was busy, lots of guests with a wedding and a birthday party and probably Christmas meetings of friends, but we still received individual treatment and service. We had a lovely room on the first...

Excellent location, fantastic welcome, modern hotel with roaring fires. The wonderful view out across the bay allows you to watch the waves rolling in and breaking across the headland. This is an incredible part of the world with wonderfully welcoming people – wish I had visited here many years before

Stayed here for one night over the Christmas period. The room was lovely (sea view) and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly, helpful, and tentative e.g. I asked for a glass of water at the bar, was aprox 5 mins waiting for it (which is perfectly fine) and in that time 3 separate members of staff apologized for making me wait....

Stayed at Dunmore House Hotel for two nights last week while visiting West Cork. Have stayed multiple times over the years and this hotel never disappoints. Think country house with fire and soft chairs but with a West Cork twist. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff make you feel right at home from the onset. Nothing ever too much trouble for...

I'm a bit hesitant about submitting a review as I really want to keep this amazing haven for myself and my family! Words can't describe this hotel sufficiently. From the moment you step into Dunmore until you leave you will be treated with genuine west cork warmth and friendliness. Accommodation , food , scenery and tranquility are second to none....

I stayed last night for the first time and was so impressed with the genuinely friendly service and with the quality of the decor in particular the rooms. They opened the restaurant over an hour early to give us a cooked breakfast! I cannot wait to return!

Warm welcome from the manager/owner. Given a free upgrade to a spacious room overlooking the ocean. Great start! Room was beautiful, soft colours, cosy with exceptionally comfortable beds and pillows , probably the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel! Large bathroom. Nespresso machine in room. Ate in the bar and although not fine dining it was more than...

My brother and his wife had their wedding reception in Dunmore House and as soon as walked in the door we were welcomed by the staff and we were checked in. The bridal suite was fabulous as was my own room. My room was a little cold but turning on the radiator solved that problem. The view out my window...

Room was freezing. Floor, bed, bathroom cold. Called reception, told heating is on now - 30 minutes later, unbelievably cold. Called reception again & portable radiator provided, not ideal, but worked
