holidayed in this hotel recently Holidayed in this hotel recently for a coupe of days . Because of Covid restrictions some items could be excused. A nice hotel.with slightly outdated furniture ,but comfortable. Bar area slightly dated but choice of beer needs to be updated.Bar service was excellent. Bed room was small but comfortable ,bedroom was cleaned daily etc. Bathroom had good decor but bath needed to be changed as rust was around the plug hole and side was cracked. Shower was ok but could be changed.Breakfast was served in dining room ,small buffet starter which i liked as cereals were in bowls covered with cling film, Every morning I indulged in fry which was lovely and there was a nice choice on the menu. Hotel staff were excellent at all times ,helpfull and obliging. Would i go back again "Yes" lovely .

Delightful atmosphere, very relaxed and staff all helpful and welcoming. Very comfortable room, all spotlessly clean and fresh. Breakfast was of a high quality, excellent choices all freshly cooked, and hot. Dinner on 2 nights was a disaster. Limited menu, both a la carte and inclusive. Food was re-heated and of poor quality (notable exception the decent steak) barely warm and not very fresh. Perhaps the dinner staff need tips from the breakfast set-up. A very enjoyable stay despite the disappointing dinners.

We were staying in the area and chose this hotel for a takeaway meal because of the good variety on the menu. Very tasty, very reasonably priced, well presented, good portion size, and friendly staff. A good experience all round. Thank you
