The lovely airy reception area and the seaside decor make this a really relaxing place to be right from when you first walk through the door. The staff from from to back of the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are well laid out and our (east facing balcony) was lovely in the mornings as our stay coincided nicely with warm dry weather. Food was very good overall, Breakfast was very good (lots of options) and was well organised. The Gulfstream restaurant was a lovely spot for evening dining. It was a bit more expensive than the Dunes bistro but it was at least twice as good in terms of atmosphere, quality of food and service. We'll be back!
A wonderful stay - this is a long one:) Myself and my partner are getting married in Inchydoney next year. Having postponed and lost our previous venue, we booked blind but had heard about Inchydoney's reputation. We decided to spend our summer staycation here and see our wedding venue. It didn't disappoint. From the moment we arrived, we were met by staff who helped with our bags and offered us a welcome drink. Our room was incredible with a balcony. Definitely book an ocean view room, its well worth it. I really felt this matched many 5 star hotels we previously stayed in. It's the little touches....the staff who cleaned our rooms were excellent but it was the way in the evening they checked if we needed anything and freshened the room that made all the difference. Furthermore, the relaxed and genuinely friendly nature from all the staff was a breath of fresh air. We had great chats with the staff in the bar, restaurant ect. There was a lovely atmosphere about the place and it really showed in the staff and that tells a lot. The food was second to none. We ate in the Gulf Stream and Dunes Bar mixing it up for the 4 nights we stayed. The steak sandwich was delicious. It's actual steak, not the cheap meat you find in other places. My partner had the T-bone and sirlion over the course of the week and loved it. I had the lobster - delish...and the pasta and the t-bone myself. It was excellent and relaxed me knowing my wedding was in good hands. In terms of covid....everything was top notch...careful, sanitized, but mindful in the sense of keeping a peaceful, enjoyable experience. I'm delighted after our visit. I was a ball of nerves beforehand hoping the venue would be as I had heard. It actually excelled my expectations. I can't remember all the names of the staff, but obviously Emma the wedding coordinator who met us last wednesday was brilliant and the lovely waiting staff in the bar and restaurant who were chatty and had great attention to detail and most of all the cleaning staff who are so busy but stopped every time to say hello and chat for a bit. It's a fantastic hotel, well done.…
Visited inchydoney lodge for the first time in July 2021. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special. The staff were outstanding from reception to breakfast room to dinner and not forgetting the cleaning staff. Always courteous and efficient. We have booked to return next year. Rooms wonderful with outstanding sea views
absolutely stunning scenery, a sandy beach is on your doorstep , surf school 50m , staff couldn't do enough for you , bed is super king and the most comfortable bed I've slept in on holidays ,, from you enter the breakfast room we were greeted by a young dublin guy with a very welcoming good morning and stunning breakfast , the staff are very pleasant in every part of the hotel we will be back 💕
This was our fourth time returning to Inchydoney Hotel and it did not fail to disappoint. The 3 of us (2 adults and a 6yr old) were welcomed warmly and throughout out our 3 night stay, were there to help us in anyway they could. All staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were serviced twice a day which is five star service, with a nespresso coffee machine in the rooms and daily chocolates. The rooms were clean, bright and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous, all food served to the table in a bright airy room, numbers well managed. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel situated on the beach and we will will definitely be back for a fifth visit. Geraldine and Richard Walsh
