Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is one of the best hotels for relaxing and unwinding.from check in to check out everything was fabulous. The staff are so friendly and natural but always gave 5 star service. Nothing was a problem. The food is simply delicious both for breakfast, dinner and bar food. Huge choice and good sized portions. Location is amazing as is the seawater pool and spa. This is our 4th stay and we have already rebooked for December 2023. 5 stars 🌟 all the way

What a wonderful place! Located beautifully with a stunning view over the ocean, the hotel staff was very attentive to us from the first moment on. From the welcome, over the check in, the way the (birthday) room was prepared, the friendly lady at the spa, the restaurant Team no matter if at breakfast or 5 course dinner - it was all a fully enjoyable experience. The food was delicious and we even got a jar of locally made jam as a good by gift in the end. Definitely a place for anybody who just wants to relax and get spoiled for a while!

Myself and three friends stayed for two days in one of the apartments. It was perfect. The view was amazing, the apartment itself was perfect. We ate twice in the bar and had breakfast in the restaurant for the two mornings..I could not fault anything..the food or the wonderful service.

We try to stay at Inchydoney at least once a year, more if possible and it never disappoints. The hotel is so warm and welcoming no matter what time of the year we visit, the beautiful beaches and scenary are always stunning but it really its the staff who make it such a special place. From the young students working part time shifts to the experienced staff we have met over the years they are all customer focused and make you feel so relaxed and welcome withjout being overpowering. We have stayed in many different rooms and each time the view is different, we cannot agree whcih is our favourite room as each one offers a different experience. We absolutly love the residents lounge for quite drinks or to read or simply just relax but we also love the buzz of Dunes bar with its relaxed athmosphere, casual dining and jovial staff. Inchydoney offers the best breakfast we have had in any hotel with the full Irish Breakfast served to order but the contential breakfast has such choice and great produce that it is hard to pass. Getting a taxi into Clonaklity is made easy by the reception staff, we even got a complimentary Irish liquer while waiting for our lift. One of the things we love about going to Inchydoney is that returning customers are appreciated and they always make us feel special. We are just back after a lovely few days there and we are now looking to see when we can return.

We cant thanks all involved enough for making our little honeymoon the best experience, from the moment we arrived at this magical hotel we were greeted with smiles and pure genuine politeness, the staff in the spa couldn't do enough for us, and the massages are the best we have ever encountered, the rooms are fantastic with a super view, there is nothing nicer than a sea view in the morning, the dinner and breakfast are really top notch, especially the homemade granola bars.. we will definitely be back to this truly magnificent place ....Many thanks, Aaron & Amy Young

I stayed here mid September 2022 and all was usually well as it always was as I’m a regular guest at this stunning hotel. However on my first stay the lift was out of use. Since I came with my dad who is partially disabled we had to go through the kitchen to get up to breakfast as he couldn’t use the stairs. We were told this was only temporary and that the lift was currently being fixed. I came early November again this time by myself , to the lift still being out of order and it turned out it has not been fixed since the last time I had came. This is a major inconvenience for a massive hotel like this one and should have been fixed straight away especially when we’re being charged 250€ a night. It’s a joke at this stage and will not be returning until this issue is solved.

Aside from being a stunning hotel and location the genuine warmth of staff cannot be paralleled at this hotel. The suite was immaculate, very comfortable & clean. With beautiful views of both beaches. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, we were treated like royalty, to all the staff thank you, even the stormy weather couldn't take from the experience, you made our stay even more special. We have already booked to stay again.

Stayed with my husband for a special occasion, hotel room was nice , we had dinner booked in the restaurant , the manager Brendan was very rude and food was awful not eatable!! So much so we skipped dessert , breakfast next morning was fine , we couldn’t believe how standards were lowered !! From our last trip a couple of years ago !!
