My husband and I have stayed here many times over the last few years, and we keep going back. We love the food, the people and our lovely room, we seem to get the same room every year without asking (room 228). While has a small balcony and is a good size. I love their chicken curry and is the...

Note to self, next time check TripAdvisor before you visit a hotel and not after! The reviews here are 100% accurate... This place is a shambles. Rude, arrogant and greedy owner, and the worst attempt at running a business I have witnessed in years!

Ah there you are... I was waiting for this "bad" review to come through, seeing as you threatned it and shouted at us as my security personnel tried to calm you down !!!! I suggest next time you visit our night club you pay at the door like everybody and bnot sneak in behind the back of the ticket man....

A charming, historical and welcoming hotel, with a relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed being entertained, with traditional Irish live music. We found the staff very friendly, especially barman Craig who went out of his way to assist. We had a lovely evening and look forward to going again on future trips to Ireland.

O'Donovan's Hotel is an institution in Clonakilty and West Cork - it's history goes back centuries.... My visit is to use the internet service that's available herein for a small fee. But i've dined in the restraunt previously - the food is brilliant and competively priced. The staff are most friendly and helpful whatever the problem may be - it's...

I've stayed here a couple of times, around the time of the band championships and each time I found it average. Rooms are very small and even in summer can be cold and damp. Breakfasts are a bit of a sad affair; slapped up and nothing fresh. This hotel has an ideal location in the centre of the village and...

O' Donovan's Hotel is situated on Pearse Street in Clonakilty, Co. Cork. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, and rates are very good (about €45 per night including breakfast) Food here is well-priced with hearty portion sizes too. Recommended.

We had a great stay here - lovely, clean, cozy and warm, tastefully decorated room - very spacious - friendly as all get out at the desk. Though we usually stay at small B &B's, this place was priced reasonably at 45 pp. Owned and operated by the O'Donovan family .The hotel is full of charming character - lovely antiques...

O'DONOVAN'S HOTEL is the only place I stay while visiting the great town of Clonakilty. Great history with many generations of family. Deena is a joy , so friendly and helpful and always has time for a pleasant word .The front desk personnel are fantastic friendly and very helpful. I usually get a balcony room which overlooks the garden in...

Stayed here for one night. I found it very disappointing. There was a funny smell in my room which was freezing cold. The food was obviously just reheated in a microwave as the Gravy had bubbles in it. Wouldn't stay there again. On the plus side the man at the front desk was charming and had a nice Cork head...

3 of us had lunch here on 21/02 and were pleased to see the menu choice on offer. I had the beef lasagne which with a fantastic generous side salad. The dressing was amazing, I would pay good money to get the recipe (please, please send it to me by email anne.bursens@yahoo.co.uk). My partner had the 4 cheese lasagna and...
