Arriving by bus to discover this hotel was literally 4 steps away was a great surprise! Stepping into the O’Donnovan’s Hotel was like stepping back through time! This hotel has a 127+ year history with generations of one family running the place! Dena, Tom and Craig treated us like family and were so friendly helping us navigate our way around...

Cosy, warm, comfortable ,friendly and well located in the middle of town. We spent just one night yet experienced the warm welcome and kindness of the staff. Anyone visiting West Cork could not do better than a stay at this family hotel.

We stayed here on the 4th of December as we were heading to a gig in de Barras. The location is great, the room was comfortable, plenty of parking available and the staff are lovely. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Had a great stay. Loved the little library. Food was good and the rooms were clean. Room service breakfast was great after a night out. Only downside was the beds were a little on the hard side for us. Would stay again.

The hotel is on the main shopping street of the town. Rooms are clean and comfortable and have tea making facilities, tellys snd en-suite. Large comfortable bed. No noise from the street or other residents. Breakfast was filling, I had the full Irish on both mornings. I would stay again.

Myself and my husband stayed here for weekend and were greeted on arrival by a lovely lady who was very charming. We went to our room which was extremely cold but after turning on a heater it heated in no time. We arrived around 8pm and had a drink in the pub. Great character and a good warm fire. This...

A lovely family run hotel, nicely situated in the main part of the town. Lovely staff. A good size room and a very comfortable bed with a choice of sheets and blankets or a Duvet. Very clean with a fine shower and bath. We opted for a room at the back of the hotel as we were not sure how...

Very centrally located. The hotel has a lot of history about it. Rooms a good size and nicly furnished. Good Irish breakfast but forget about having dinner here, there are too many good restaurants nearby. Steak was typically Irish - chewy. The fish and chips, well - I guess it's hard to go wrong with those. Pub food is pub...
