Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Aidan couldn’t have been more helpful when we reached the B and B. We were really happy with the service we received. We have given an average rating though because of the price we were charged. We took a family room, 2 adults, 2 children over 10. The rates weren’t on the website so we emailed to check the price and availability and were quoted €120 per night. When we got to the accommodation there was a price list in reception that gave a rate of €100 a night for a family room for 2 adults and 2 children over 10. Aidan insisted on charging us the €120 a night because that is what he quoted. There was no explanation as to why he quoted 20% more than the current room rate....

I booked this a month before telling the owner we would be coming early as we were going you the midleton distillery for 11am. Sure enough he rang me around 9.30am to check where we were and that our room would be ready when we arrived. That was a lovely touch. The room was very nice, large and clean, beds comfortable. The owner had our breakfast ready when we went downstairs inn the morning and the service and food were great. Overall a very pleasant stay, definitely recommended if you're staying in midleton as it's a short walk to the main street and distillery. Top marks, thank you

The room was bright and clean with a shower bath, tv and wifi. Very nice breakfast and the hospitality of the owners and other visitors was very warm and everyone was always willing to give the best advice about the various destinations. I hope to return next Spring 2017 and plan to stay here.

We recently stayed here. Aidan & Tina were brilliant, and very welcoming. We were hoping to arrive early, but in the end it was in evening, I had let Aidan know and it was 'no problem' We were given a choice of 2 rooms, opted for upstairs. Lovely spacious room, with tea/coffee facilities, hair dryer, tv. Although we were in front of house, we did not hear any traffic. Breakfast was fabulous the next morning, cooked to order and delicious. Brown Bread was lovely👍Aidan kept checking we were OK for coffee, bread etc... We were staying for 2 days, our towels were changing daily. There is a bus stop right outside the house, you can take it direct into Cork City if you don't feel like driving. Midleton is 5 minutes walk from B&B, so no problem to leave car. The car park is spacious, and Aidan allowed us leave car while we did some sight-seeing. All in all a wonderful stay, with a very warm welcome from Aidan & Tina.

Only stayed for one night with my two daughters age 12 and 10. Booked a room with double and single bed but upon arrival was given a double and two singles. Room was spacious and very clean. Room was ensuite and was very clean too. Wifi was very good which pleased my daughters! Had breakfast in the dining room and the food was lovely. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Had planned to stay in hotel but changed mind to save money and I was delighted I did as this B&B was just as good if not better than a hotel. Close to Midleton and not far from Cork city (bus stop right outside to Cork). Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again next time we travel to Midleton.

A short walk from the centre of town, with friendly staff and clean room...it's a great option. Breakfast was tasty and pleanty of options. Check-out is a little earlier than expected, but I was assured would not be a problem, if I was delayed. Excellent value.
