Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Travelled to attend local wedding. Bed and Breakfast ideally located for both Castlemartyr and Midleton. Rooms clean and comfortable, excellent hosts and lovely breakfast. Would certainly recommend to others!

We had an amazing time - warmest hospitality, spotless room, delicious breakfast! Willie is a wonderful host, we felt like a family with just the perfect balance of attention and privacy. Highly recommended!

I stayed for 2 nights with my son and husband to attend a nearby wedding.
I can't say enough good things about Willie and Triona's hospitality. The B&B is lovely: the room was large, clean and comfortable, the location was great, breakfast was delicious. What really made it special was our hosts though, they really went out of their way to look after us (letting us all play football in the garden in the morning, and sorting out an emergency taxi for us when we realised we shouldn't have waited to mid-afternoon on the Sunday to book a ride to get back to the airport). The B&B is walking distance to the Jameson Distillery too!

very friendly b&b owners Willie & Triona. We stayed there awaiting our ferry from Cork (Ireland) back to Roscoff in Bretagne (France). One dsadvantage, too close to the big highway N25.

Easy access to nice village of Midleton. Good places to eat. Also nearby mountainbike park of Curragh woods (Coillte) is a nice adventure. Steep trails, although not well indicated. Nevertheless, give it a try.

...during our trip through ireland. The room was scabby and dirty, the wifi connection was very bad and the noice from the beside main street was horrible.
To go to the town you have to cross this mentioned above main street. Also the way to the town is very dark and there is no sidewalk available. The breakfast was OK, but if you see the big boxes where they store the cereals under the table on the floor that's not very delicious. Also my knife was dirty from - i guess - the person who was sitting before me on the table.
All together i definitly not recommend a stay here

We had ground floor rooms which were very good for us. Lovely quiet setting even though not far from main road. Our host gave us some good advise about sight seeing and where to eat. We followed that advice and all was good. .Lovely garden surrounding the property. Good rooms and good breakfast. All you need really.

I find the standard of Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Ireland only average. This B&B is only average. The room was a family room and quite large. The room was warm and appeared to be clean.
Unfortunately the bed sheets were stained even though they seemed washed which is a little off putting. The WiFi signal was not great, signal kept dropping. The shower was poor and requires maintenance, no pressure through the rose head.
It’s a pity because the hosts seemed friendly.

Stayed a night with family. Room was comfortable and clean. What sets this apart is the warm hospitality and the great tips to see 'hidden' Ireland. We followed the recommendations and had a nice, short excursion. Look out for friendly Toby the dog :)

We can't ask for more as they are very accommodating and willing to help hosts. Breakfast was absolutely outstanding and one word "fresh". We had full rang of cold and hot breakfast items, even smoked salmon. The room was massive and with great garden view. The bed was so comfortable, my husband was complaining about my snoring. "Open house" was appreciated and made us feel homely and welcome.
The house was just located outside of Midleton, easy 3mins drive for us. Very handy if you wish to visit Jameson Distillery.
The only reason I didn't give 5 star due to the weak wifi.
